Delegating and Assigning
I was reading an article in a nursing newspaper 'The Pelican News' for April, May and June of this year. The article that I read feels like it could appeal to all professions is entitled 'Delegating and Assigning: What You Need to Know'. The author Cynthia Saver has blocked out at the end of the article 'Five Rights of Delegation'. I am going to retype these five verbatim for I do not want to misinterpret them.

First Grade
So, how many of you remember what first grade was like? First grade is when children become students in more formal education, as in learning to read and write and learn more basic math skills. There is still art, music and physical education activities, but more in line with learning the subject matter not just making crafts, singing songs and moving around. First grade is the very foundation of what is to come.

The Attic
There is an old house that sits in the middle of the town of Mare. There are rumors that it is haunted by a witch or whatever in the attic. There has been various families who have tried to live there, but it seems that when it comes to going up the stairs into the attic to find something an eerie feeling comes over a person, but curiosity of the person takes over. The person looks around the dusty place and looks around and everything seems just like it should in an old attic and one thinks if it's cleaned up it would make a good study or something else and then something else happens. The person feels like they are being pulled into a dark corner and the more they try to move away from the force the person feels that they should try harder to make it back to the stairs that led to the attic and this feeling that something wants or needs to do something in this attic subsides till another day when that curiosity returns and back up the stairs to the attic and the person with broom in hand starts to sweep up the dust and cobwebs. That eerie feeling returns, and the person feels like someone, or thing is watching just minding their time till a decision is made. No one has ever completely cleaned that old attic for the fear that seems to take over to escape happens, but it seems there is always someone will return and find out what that eerie feeling is all about.

Preschoolers
What is a preschooler? Preschool is somewhat like day care except there is more academic subjects like reading, manuscript writing, math skills along with more experiments in science and social studies with learning safety and even staying healthy by teaching preschoolers' nutrition and other skills with a little more detail than day care. Preschoolers also still do art, music and movement activities related to the academic areas.

Kindergarten
Kindergarten is the grade that a long time ago was not really required to send children. I was one student that did not go to Kindergarten. At one time it was only a half day program with two classes a morning and/or an afternoon class. Kindergarten teachers were the first to really get into the serious academics of learning with reading, writing, math skills and even science and social studies/life skills.

Day Care
At one time I was a Day Care Assistant Teacher for young toddlers. It was a blast. Day Care is a chance for very young and young children to gain the proper socialization skills needed for when they reach the age of primary schooling. Academics mainly entail letters, number, basic shapes and colors, and maybe learning to read pictures.

April
April to me is one of months of Spring. It is a month of sun but mainly rain showers or even at times thunderstorms. You remember the old saying "April showers bring May flowers." Depending on where you live some May flowers have already bloomed and hopefully will continue to bloom. There are some years that Easter would fall during this month, but not thi year for Passover is the only religious day for the month and no other holidays.

March
The third month of the year and depending where you live in the country it is either snowy or rainy. In the South it is usually damp and rainy and just sort of drab. Where I was raised it is usually snowy and cold. There is St. Patrick's Day and this year at the end of the month was Easter. Other religious days were Palm Sunday and Good Friday. It also had the clock change of Daylight Savings Time.
