April to me is one of months of Spring. It is a month of sun but mainly rain showers or even at times thunderstorms. You remember the old saying "April showers bring May flowers." Depending on where you live some May flowers have already bloomed and hopefully will continue to bloom. There are some years that Easter would fall during this month, but not thi year for Passover is the only religious day for the month and no other holidays.

lingering cold weather days at times depending.

March
The third month of the year and depending where you live in the country it is either snowy or rainy. In the South it is usually damp and rainy and just sort of drab. Where I was raised it is usually snowy and cold. There is St. Patrick's Day and this year at the end of the month was Easter. Other religious days were Palm Sunday and Good Friday. It also had the clock change of Daylight Savings Time.

April is a favorite month for many children because schools often have summer break, a holiday period that typically lasts from the middle of April to the end of May.
