Bio
I am a person who really likes to read and write and to share what I learned with all my education. My page will mainly be book reviews and critiques of old and new books that I have read and will read. There will also be other bits, too.

The Typewriter
On the desk in the corner of the library sat an old typewriter that no one seems to even notice. But, one day I decided to walk up to it, sit down, placed my fingers on the home row of this old machine. It felt good. I lifted my fingers off the keys, brushed the dust away. I couldn't resist for I put a piece of paper around the platen and just began to type and type and type. I do not what I typed, but it just kind of felt good to hear the clickety clack of this machine.

Halloween
Horrifying anxiety letting loose other worldly entities entering neverland. _____________ There was this one All Hallow's Eve that no body could be found. Why do you suppose this happened. Could it have been that they did not follow the rules that were stated one night, or could it have been that there was a sense that they were being watched, but what was watching them? They were afraid to ask and did not really want an answer, but they had to know. They listened to each, and it occurred to them that what was watching them was each other's bodies.

Music
The rhythm of the music that was heard coming from the house down the street was erratic. The house at the end of the block was known to the townspeople as being a bit odd at times, but not this odd. The music that the townspeople were hearing was a little bit country and little bit rock and roll. All of the sudden the town changed, and it seemed to go back in time to the mid to late 1970's. Everyone was groovin' and singin'. It lasted for a few minutes and then we seemed to become aware of life.

I will share my candy with you for I will cast a spell on you so you can enjoy some of loot.

Managing
We all seem to arbitrarily save enough to live as in getting food to eat and to cloth ourselves, well if we are able to do this for there are some that are out there that need our help through no fault of their own who need extra help. I know there are thrift stores and helping hands, but some people are just too proud to admit that they need help, and I also know that out of that group of individuals there are some that are just lazy and do not want to do anything worthwhile but complain about.

The Community
The World community always seemed to think that the natural resources were always inexhaustible, but we are slowly learning that they are not. The powers that be are always trying to find new ways to increase these resources, but it seems like they are always doing it too late or in the wrong ways like 'fracking'. I always liked wind and solar power, but it seems even those have drawbacks. The lesson I learned is that all the resources are related to each other in some way, and we have to figure a way to harness their togetherness some way.

Guessing?
We can only guess at what the next new word in the dictionary might be. I am still amazed at some of the words that seem to join the lexicon world of this major tome. There are many words in this book of books that seems to add to our knowledge in many areas of living our lives. Words like 'bot' could be one of them. I think 'bot' is in this book of learning to spell and increasing vocabulary. If at times we do not know how to spell words remember what your teacher always said, "Look it up."

Teachers and Education
Another vocabulary project that I am working on is one dealing with the Foundations of education from the history to the present and all the needed information that a student of education may need. There are so many theorists from the Greeks to the present day. One must learn the past to improve the present to hopefully make the future better for all people. To educate is to make understanding not just the facts but the idea or ideas behind them. Teaching is a profession that is hard to comprehend at times for all the issues. Teaching is a calling.
