Lizzy Gabrick
Bio
I spent many years reading and writing in my adolescence but have found inspiration has lapsed since I have become more settled into my adult life--a career and marriage. I look forward to changing that and sharing my creations with you.

Exquisite Encasements
Swiftly hastening down a cold flight of unoccupied stairs, I felt the cool breeze of sheltered air smelt across the contours of my face, wiping over their pail entailments. Everything about my features were light in color; my eyes emitted a blank aqua, my rounded face a creamy white. All except for the flaming mush of red hair that piled onto my balding head. I was ugly. Hideous. Lacking in profound beauty.

In Tune
There was a time in life when blood was an outspoken barrier but one that could be crossed if it was desperately wished for. Generations later, the same barrier of purity and relevance exists but no longer is it willed to cross. Sealed are the gates separating those deemed higher and those looked down upon and few desire the lust and passion to fumble with the aging locks. Surely devastating to realize, but it can only be expected that rules will become stricter as time moves on. Some may openly disagree but when one is forbid to marry because of differences that no one possesses the power to control, outlooks become tighter and reins are being pulled too close. No one is willing to let their guard down when they need it most and there lies the issue of finding true happiness.

The Chance to Fall
I entered the well-populated work party an hour into its course, searching the sea of people for a familiar face. My job at a prestigious bank in London had only begun a month previous and there were still hundreds of people I had yet to meet. As I swarmed through the crowd I caught the eyes of many—mostly willing men—and expertly hid an instinctive grin. I was used to the stares by now; being exceptionally beautiful certainly made that a typical addition to my daily routine.
