What is YOUR Guilty Pleasure?
Everyone has one. I have one. You have one. Heck, even your own grandparent has one. Guilty pleasures are things that bring us comfort, bring us joy; we can’t help ourselves. It’s an obsession that makes us so happy we keep going back to it.. over and over and over again.

The Disappearance of Kayley Harrison
No mother ever imagines a day at the park turning into this. She just wanted to take her five year old daughter out for a day at the park to get some fresh air; if she had known what was to come.. she would have never suggested to leave the house.

Left for Dead. Top Story - October 2021.
My head popped out of the frigid waters, immediately gasping for air the second my face hit the surface. Before thinking about doing anything else, I just know I had to get the hell out of these waters. My hand reached up and grabbed the closest patch of dried grass that I could reach before pulling my entire body over the small cliff, wincing at the pain caused by the scraping of the sharp rocks lining up the side of the cliff.

As the car pulled into the driveway, I found myself staring out the window watching as all the trees fell behind. It almost felt as if they had been running along next to the car, unable to catch up. Suddenly everything came to a sudden stop and my arm flew up and gripped my dads arm as my nails carved into his skin. "Dad!" I shouted out.

Once I entered the waiting room once again, I saw someone who looked an awfully lot like my dad standing over by the reception desk. I tapped his shoulder, hoping my eyes didn't actually play a trick on me and this was actually some stranger I was tapping on the shoulder. I really just wanted to go back home right now. I gave him another tap on the shoulder right as he turned around. A smile grew across his face.

Why You Should Be Dressing Your Dogs Up For Halloween
While there are ton of adults my age who are out there buying costumes for their young babies, or letting their children pick out their own costumes, I have only had dogs. Don't get me wrong. This isn't a complaint. I love it. Dogs are loyal and the best companions to have when it's just you. But sometimes you just want to have something to dress up for Halloween as well..

Styling My Dog Using The Halloween Clearance at Pet Stores
If you saw a previous work I written for this same challenge about my current pup's last Halloween costume, you would have seen that I mentioned a Halloween costume seen on this pup from a photo I had found (Article found here). After doing a bit more looking, I actually found another costume that this dog had worn in the time he and I were in each other's lives. This was a costume I found at PetSmart in the "Clearance" section one day when my mom and I went one night close to closing time for some dog food- I just knew I had to buy it the very second I found it. I was not putting it back on the shelf.

Dreamer - Chapter 11
Disclaimer: This story has multiple parts. To read the previous part, you can click here. "L-Lex?" I stared off into the distance. My thoughts flashed back and forth from the kiss we shared to her running off. Why? Why would she do that? She can't catch feelings for me. Not me. She's so weak. So weak. I'll take advantage of that. I've done it before. How is she any different?
