Dreamer - Chapter 28
"Rev," I folded my arms across my chest, "What did you mean by that?" I could feel the worry fill my face. I can't be living inside his old house. No. What if I'm sleeping inside the same bedroom that he slept in? The things that he could've done in this house.. the things that could've happened.. I can't even think about. I used to feel so safe here. I used to think that this was the one place that wouldn't have the constant reminder of Rev written all over the walls.

For Him
To the man I never want to see again, I used to believe that you would always be in my life.. I never thought I would've said my final goodbye to you. Hell. I never even said an actual goodbye to you. You were taken out of my life almost immediately, and, at the time, I didn't exactly realize what it was that made others think we were so bad for each other. You were my best friend. You were always my best friend. Since I was eight years old, you and I were inseparable. We did everything together from discussing favorite movies and artists to cooking pasta for lunch for your girlfriend. You remember her, right? The woman who you openly caused pain to both emotionally and physically; the same woman you used to constantly banned from having a child while you spent all your days giving a young child more respect than the woman you supposedly loved. I mean.. I remember you. I remember our relationship. Looking back on it, I'm so fucking thankful you never created any children.

Dreamer - Chapter 25
I watched as he pulled out of the long driveway before glancing out at the trees surrounding the little house I now call home. Each tree had been set apart so differently; half looked as if they were strong soldiers, while the others looked to be weak and frail. Almost like they were representing myself according to most in this small, new town. Among the trees, I kept seeing a sad, broken-hearted little girl.. crying over the lifeless body that was splattered all over the ground in front of her.

Dreamer - Chapter 24
A blast of cold air hit my face as I stepped into the hospital; a bunch of nurses and doctors sat around, typing away at their computers or walking around to each individual patient they had to check on. I walked up to the front desk, scanning my eyes over the nurse sitting there staring at the computer. She wore a laminated nametag that read Janell in small medium sized black letters.
