Aetheric Essence
Running, running, running, and crashing throughout the night. Through trees, the bush, and nests where critters dash through the night. Each bush disturbed in a chaotic cacophony in the stillness of the evening air. The rushing rivers were as ponds in your wake, puddles even; negligible. Nigh nonexistent, everything in your sight fell away; as the only two things remaining were you & your path. The world falls away when you're like this; everything becomes a white noise, not a distraction, but another mode of existence entirely – a flow.

{Operants} Pt. I
As we wake where have we gone? There in a flash, most times, without leaving your place of rest. The future moves forth inexorably on its way to us at lightning speed. Unable to discern its orient we oftentimes find that our destination falls short of each path we take; as the famous saying goes. We tell ourselves that it’s absurd to value where you are or will be over the steps that've brought you there. Yet, we can forget that our mannerisms change with time. Minds change, people don't. This is an idea I had for a song title to a track I produced in high school, maybe 11th grade if memory serves.

I was collaborating with a number of artists that would go on to work with me in a greater capacity in the coming years. However, this is where the fundamental aspects of Kurokami came to be forged.

Skies Abound
Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. 5 years ago such an occurrence would have the world at a standstill as we all, collectively looked up. Pondering, curious, & wondering; are we alone? Now it is as common an occurrence as the summer breeze. So much that it’s hard to remember life without them.
