These days nothing feels the same. The world has changed and yet, simultaneously I can’t imagine it any other way. It is as though I was able to predict how things would turn out and couldn’t do enough to fight again, the tide of time. To me it is as a wave, and as you may know if you’re fortunate enough to possess a background in science it must be, as everything, a wave.

I’ve been making music for 7 1/2 years as of writing this. And for as long as I can remember I’ve always said I was a mad mind or insane. I’ve recently been grappling with this concept after having to do some growing up and it’s frightening to say the least. After suffering a complete mental breakdown and being admitted into a psyche ward I find myself asking how far is too far now. I was content before while silently suffering telling myself “I’m stronger than this and I can handle it” however I now wonder if I’m genuinely mad or just mislead and it bothers me now.

My Life and Rap
What Hip Hop Has Helped Me Understand That’s typically how these things start right? We pose a question to the audience, then proceed to answer it. Well sure, but why? See what I learned from hip hop is that no matter how much things change, they will undoubtedly remain the same. That is the core tenant behind hip hop’s philosophy of what the Japanese call Champloo/Chanpuru a dish crafted through the mixing of different foods in a sort of stir fry. The anime hip hop fans will understand the reference.
