How To Get All You Want In German. Content Warning.
What is this book and why is it been following me for the past 20 or so years? How To Get All You Want In German That's the name of it and it's a very small little booklet, and I have no idea when it was printed. There is no date or author. From what I’ve seen so far.

Sober house roommates wanted me gone. Content Warning.
The other two tenants were a bit older than me, and we didn’t really have much in common. My roommates, as I was advised to call them after moving in, were cigarette smokers, older and more street worn than me. And that's about all I knew about them. Because that's all I saw them do. Smoking cigarettes nonstop on the deck right outside my window, sharing stores of their glory days on the wrong side of the tracks.

She was the boss. Content Warning.
I had a boss once, who wrote this as the content in an email in response to some concerns over the quality of care and cutbacks that management (like herself) were making. I think she was drunk when she wrote it. But I’ve kept it. For years. Saved on my computer. It’s indescribably insensitive and callous towards the people in care homes who she managed staffing for. The delusional sense of authority she had has never failed to relay the inhumane arrogance of all that is wrong with private healthcare, and how the elderly are mistreated, abused, and neglected. It is disturbingly evil and incredibly unsophisticated in its written style.

Someone I worked with long ago made it big.
There’s this guy I worked a few years ago, who I still see on social media from time to time, and I’m honestly so jealous of him. In a good way, though. He’s now a director at a huge company, makes bank, and is still known for being as easy going, fun, and like able as he was all those years ago when we worked at a commerce startup together in our twenties.
