Can You Hear It
The moon and the mist, hide a secret The darkness, helps hide it away The sounds in the midnight get louder The night lingers into the day * Mossy pathways make it hard to stay balanced The air is as thick as the mud Staying sane becomes your biggest challenge Something is lurking and searching for blood * The scent in the air, is unliving Sounds float around, leave you feeling unhinged You feel a breath on your neck, unforgiving A slight hint of something, brushes your skin * As you turn, you're sure something is moving But shadows come and go, like the breeze A twig snaps and you find yourself reeling The fear gnaws at you like a disease *

Away With The Breeze
In the shade of the day Watching clouds pass and sway Making shapes and shadows on the ground My body begins to relax as they slowly go past Floating away, with the breeze * Out of the corner of my eye I see a butterfly float by It’s beautiful wings flutter and carry it gently with ease Dipping up and then down Staying just above ground Floating away on the breeze * Something invisible and sticky brushes my arm A small spider is building a web Dangling and dancing with ease and delight Drawing dazzling designs with each step No lessons were taught to perform such a feat With such precision and delicate strength She must start it again, as it all disappears, in the trees Floating away in the breeze * My worries are many My troubles seem deep In this moment it's easy to see Like the clouds, butterfly and the small spiders web If I let go They will all disappear in the breeze

You
Plunging deep into your waters Breathing in the mist of you Taking on your surge of power Fresh and crisp, as morning dew Heading safely to your islands To your warm, welcoming shores In the capsule, of your passage Im the boat, and you’re my oars You, the dream And I, the dreamer Longing together, just once more To be held safe, content and happy Know what desire on my lips are for So long I’ve waited to be closer To touch your face, dive in your eyes And swim in loves unending fountain Away from secrets, pain or lies

The Pink Mob
Okay, I know this story may be hard to believe, but bear with me. Last year I took a mini vacation. Truth be told, I was traveling to Belize, to help my father pack up his father's condo, after the passing of his father. They had been estranged for more than 20 years and after a brief reunion, he found him, permanently sleeping, in the chaise lounge, by the pool.
