Space Jumper
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. But they also say you can’t breathe in space, yet here she is breathing just fine. So if she screamed right now, while being chased through galaxies, would anybody hear her? More importantly, who would hear her? She did know one person who she met quite frequently when exploring different galaxies, but that was always by chance. Who knows where he is now. He could be asleep on his home planet earth for all she knew. It's not like they had space phones to call each other, though that would be cool and she should definitely look into that. But even if he showed up, what could he do? She would be in the same position, just another person to look after, she didn't need that right now. She only needed herself, she was better on her own anyways.

The Perfect Summer
The Perfect Summer Drip, drip, drip. Water flew off my body as I raced out of the pool. “Food is ready!” Someone yelled as everyone flocked to gather around the table. The smell of the barbecue filled my nose with all the memories of summer's past. My heart was full. Summer was finally here!

Keala
CHAPTER 1 There weren't always dragons in the valley. She remembered when there were only unicorns, but now she liked having the dragons around, she thought to herself as she admired the majestic creatures glowing, flying through the cosmos leaving stardust as they passed her by. One of them coming so close she could see its skin shimmering an iridescent rainbow color that she could feel so smooth and cool to the touch. She was entranced by how graceful they were, how kind and gentle she could feel their energies. It was almost like they had cast a spell on her to feel an overwhelming abundance of love that filled her whole heart and body. It was so magical that she didn't have the words to describe such a feeling of beauty. It was nothing she had ever felt in her lifetime and nothing like she had read in her books of the fire breathing dragons that always wanted to destroy and kill. It was quite the opposite.

Otis
OTIS By Keala Asher Early one morning Lyla, a teenage girl from the suburbs full of ancient trees, woke up from a deep slumber to the hooting of an owl outside her window. She smiled as she heard her feathered friend sing into the morning sun, greeting the new day as the deep blue colors of the sky turned into a swirly sherbert watercolor painting ever so changing as the seconds ticked by. This was her favorite way to wake up and her favorite part of the day when the town was silent and the orchestra of mother nature sang her wake up song.
