School Nostalgia
Living the small-town life that is the same small town you grew up in is not for the weak. From running into old classmates at the local grocery store, to seeing classmates on the local police sites for not the most honorable mentions, there are daily reminders that you have never left. Sometimes it can feel like you have grown and changed, but the town has not, even though you see changes in the businesses and growth of population.

This Writing for An Audience
I have no real purpose behind this writing except to state that when you write for an audience (whether a small one, such as I am currently writing for, or a larger one if you are trying to be published or keeping a blog) the process can be down right frightening. Does anyone else read constantly over what you have typed/wrote, and imagine someone reading it to your horror?

Cricut Engraving
I receive money for Christmas most years. I do not mean to be hard to shop for, but I guess I am. Because of this, one year I had been eyeing a cricut machine, but I knew I wanted the latest and greatest version, for that time. So for my Christmas present to myself, with lots of help from those individuals who gave me cash that year, I bought a Cricut Maker.

Disney Inspired Lesson
It's February. Black History Month. I'm in school now myself, so things that would be on the edge of my consciousness usually, are a little more front and center currently. I'm not only thinking about all the emails received in my school email telling of upcoming events, but also things like book bans (because this affects my future career) have me paying better attention to the going ons within my own community.

Gift of Life
Things had been different in May’s life ever since her crash last winter. Something happened in the frozen pond she had fallen into after skidding off the bridge on a patch of black ice. She kept having nightmares of being in the icy water as the car slowly filled and she was trapped.
