Justin Moore
Bio
Creatively writing sci-fi that doesn't take itself too seriously.
When I was a kid my Mum told me I made up so many wild stories in my head that I should write them down. So I did. Thanks Mum :)

Mother's Protection
"I'll explain everything, just follow –" Marcy had started to tell the newcomer to follow her back to the encampment, but he suddenly disappeared again, emitting no sound and only a faint white light. He vanished as suddenly as he had appeared on the hilltop.

10 Songs of Teen Angst
blink-182's fourth full-length studio album, Take off Your Pants and Jacket, contains all the juvenile dick jokes you expect coming from an album with such a title. Love or hate blink-182 (I love them), it cannot be denied that their catalogue has some serious hits (one of these tunes will make an appearance on this list today).

Just vibing
A typical song playing through my headphones when I'm working out is likely going to be some form of cheesy, abrasive pop-punk. Some (many) would consider this a tad embarrassing. However, as a nearly thirty-two year old man, I have accepted that there will always be at least a small part of that teenage skateboarding around inside of me. My penchant for this hometown-loving/hating, pizza-eating genre carries over into the rest of my musical tastes. It influences how I love to hear the rise and fall of a song, only for it to rise again. It keeps me searching for a tempo that draws you into the heart of the song and informs the necessity of a melody that holds onto you.

11 Movies I Pretend to be Familiar With
There are a lot of movies widely considered classics by the public at large. I want to talk about these, except from the perspective of someone who has never seen them. It's not that I disagree with them being considered classic, it's that I didn't see them growing up, and still haven't gotten around to it because I'm busy re-watching Shrek. So I go on about my life and when they come up in conversation, I make vague comments and participate solely based off Wikipedia research and memes. Each title includes a photograph from Unsplash that represents what the named movie is about in my mind.
