My Mother's Brush with McCarthyism
My mother was an extremely intelligent woman. She was the first to go to college, and she didn't just go to any college, she got a free ride to Rice University in Houston. My grandparents were well read, but they were poverty-stricken. She always wanted to become a teacher, and she majored in history at Rice.

Karmic Soulmate
Sometimes I wake up with the strong desire to write something, which is why I called my first book “Dream Stanzas.” I dreamed this, and I have the strong urge to share it because it is obviously meant for someone. I have a feeling I know who it is meant for, and she is not on my facebook page, but she does check out my vocal page frequently.
