Heavenly Wall of Blue

State Trooper Garza, (Tennessee)

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 3 years ago Updated 2 years ago 2 min read

There is a big blue wall in heaven

That grows taller and longer every day

Built of bricks harder than earthly diamonds

Impenetrable and dense

Built to last longer than our mortal eternity

And carved on these bricks are the names of the

Men and Women God has entrusted to save, protect, serve and honor us

Tasks they agreed to before incarnating here on earth

But through human failings and lack of faith, honor and love

Within themselves,

They have damned themselves and us

Names like

Tadarrius Bean

Demetrius Haley

Emmitt Martin III

Desmond Mills Jr.

Justin Smith

Derek Chauvin,

J. Alexander Kueng

Thomas Lane

Tou Thao

The list written with the blood of the innocents

Is seemingly endless and growing daily

This heavenly Wall of Blue is a not a wall of protection

Not like the “Wall of Blue” on earth

Meant to defend their own egregious inhumane behavior

But this is a Wall of

Judgement

Atonement, and

Accountability

A Wall where truth will be faced

And consequences will be meted out

A life of service is a gift from God

To be given the opportunity to lead,

Encourage, support, guide and serve fellow man

Is a Divine honor

When this honor is corrupted through arrogance, ego, intolerance

When love of power over others becomes paramount

When these men and women choose to take this godly gift

And use it to hurt, destroy, harm and kill God’s children

Have no doubt,

There will be punishment in eternity

Even though they may skirt accountability here on earth

They will NOT be able to hide behind the Earthly Wall of Blue

In Heaven

The Creator will not allow it

The Universe will demand justice for the ones they have harmed

Forced to stand in front of all their victims

There will be no room for excuses, denial or arrogance

And there will be no mercy

There will be no “Wall of Blue” filled with their brethren

To wrongfully protect them from consequences and recriminations of their actions

Humans who have confused misplaced loyalty with honor and pride

The Divine Wall of Blue is permanent, eternal and final

Unlike the Earthly Wall of Blue comprised of misguided men and women unwilling to police themselves

If you can't police yourselves,

How can you possibly police the rest of us?

Inspired by an extremely unprofessional and aggressive interaction with TRP Joe Garza, Badge 651, Unit 3347 of the Tennessee State Highway Patrol. As opposed to filing a complaint, which I know would get ignored at best, mocked at worst, I was inspired to write this poem in regards to not just Trooper Garza, but all of the power hungry unprofessional law enforcement officers in our country.
