The Brill Building
As a songwriter, one of the first places I had to go to when I moved to New York in 1999 was the Brill Building at Broadway and 49th Street. It was, quite simply, a pilgrimage of sorts to walk the sidewalks where the songwriting greats walked and created.

What's the Trick to Making Awesome Corned Beef?
The best way to prepare corned beef? That is simple. Beer! Yep, soak (or I should say "marinate") that baby in beer overnight and then simmer it in a bath of beer and water for 6-8 hours the next day. This imparts a wonderful flavor to the meat, as well as tenderizing it.

Making Rock Candy
What is rock candy exactly? In a nutshell, rock candy is the product resulting from the recrystallization of pure cane sugar. Demystifying Cat Alzheimer's Disease

History of Rally Racing
Traditionally considered a gentleman's sport, rally racing is a form of motorsport that takes place on public or private roads with either modified or specially built cars that are road legal. This type of racing is unique in that it is not performed on a circuit, but rather is a point-to-point race in which the competitors and their co-drivers drive between two set points. Rallies are won either by speed or by driving in stages within a predetermined journey time.

10 Health Tips for Writers
By its very nature, writing is a solitary experience. As writers, we spend hours sitting over our keyboards putting our thoughts into words; and while our minds are very active, our bodies, unfortunately, are not. It is easy to find ourselves falling into the rut of eating junk food, imbibing overly caffeinated and sugary drinks, and I won’t even mention alcohol! This combined with lack of exercise can spell disaster for both our health and well-being.

Avoid Rejection
Formatting your document, whether it is a blog, manuscript for a periodical, a screenplay, or a novel, plays a major role in the success or failure of your piece. It greatly improves your chances of catching the attention of a publisher and having a successful publishing experience. Even if you self-publish, unless you convert your manuscript yourself, many self-publishing companies now also require that you abide by basic formatting styles so they can convert your book to the proper file format.

Metaphors Can Provide a Visual Tapestry
He is a wolf in cheap clothing. From now on, I am watching everything you do with a fine-tuned comb. It is time to grab the bull by the tail and look him in the eye. I would not be caught dead there with a ten-foot pole. It is time to step up to the plate and lay your cards on the table.

Should You Hire a Ghostwriter For Your Blog?
The best boss I ever had used to say, “I hire the right people, and then let them do their job.” A truer statement could not be said, especially when it comes to hiring a ghostwriter to write for your blog. Hiring a ghostwriter to maintain your blog can bring significant returns on your investment.
