Horror Icons: Ghostface
”What’s your favorite scary movie” - Ghostface. That famous tagline comes from a killer who is perhaps the most effective slasher in history, Ghostface from the Scream series. For nearly 30 years Ghostface has been the reigning champ of both slasher and whodunnit films. Ghostface is also one of the greatest horror icons to ever grace the screen.

From Dusk Till Dawn: Open For Business
There was only one rule: “don’t open the door.” That’s what travelers told everyone who passed by the club known as the Titty Twister when they drove through Mexico. They say there’s a dark energy that surrounds this club and if you open the entrance door and enter then there’s a good chance that you won’t make it back out. Greg didn’t care as he parked in the lot of the Titty Twister.

Hellraiser: Pathway
There was only one rule: “don’t open the door.” But this door wasn’t the traditional door. It was a metaphorical door, a pathway. This door was called the Lament Configuration, a pathway to a forbidden world of pleasure and pain alike. Legend has it if you open this door you enter a world from which there is no returning. This is why the golden rule for anyone who didn’t seek an eternity of suffering was don’t open this door, because if you did there was no coming back.

Horror Icons: Candyman
“They will say that I have shed innocent blood, but what’s blood for, if not for shedding?” - The Candyman. I remember the first time I ever heard the voice behind that quote. I was traumatized for months after. The voice belonged to Daniel Robitaille aka the Candyman. He was created by famed horror master Clive Barker and elevated by filmmaker Bernard Rose. He is one of the greatest icons of horror and today is the 32 year anniversary of when he first hit the big screen.

The 13th Door-Part 2
There was only one rule: “don’t open the door.” Alexis and Jackie had already opened the door and it ended with Alexis bleeding on the porch of the Voorhees house and Jackie had been taken captive by Jason Voorhees. “LET ME GO! LET ME GO!” Jackie screamed while trying to kick and pull her way out of Jason’s grip. Jason dragged Jackie down to the basement and threw her on the floor.
