The space in-between
What do you call the place in between work and home life? Perhaps every Sunday you take a walk to a local café or enjoy a walk in the park after work. What do you call this place in your mind? Is it simply a part of your monotonous everyday routine, or is it something more?

Cafés of Reykjavik
I recently had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Iceland on an EF Ultimate Break tour. I chose this tour company because I like the fact that it's exclusive to people in my age group (young adults). Iceland, the land of ice and fire, is a beautiful country inhabited by friendly and caring people. I can't wait to go back one day! In this article, I talk about some of my favorite cafés in Reykjavik!

12 Minutes
The parks of my childhood are gone. Most of the people that I grew up with are also gone. Houses that I used to run around in belonging to deceased family members are no longer, and even though I often dream of those houses, nothing will ever bring them back. Out of all of these losses that every adult must conquer, I think the loss of my childhood dog was the second most painful event to ever ensue. The death of my grandmother comes in first place on the adult misery totem poll. See, when you grow up an only child, your pet becomes your sibling and best friend, and when they disappear, a void fills up your once energetic house. I often dream of him, my dog, and in those fantasies we’re often walking around the neighborhood. To commemorate his memory, I often walk our once usual route, pretending that he’s with me, and I think he is.

Emma!
Emma from the Promised Neverland is the greatest female character ever written. To give context, The Promised Neverland is a story about a group of kids who discover the true intentions of their existence; to be food for monsters called demons. The children live in an orphanage raised by a woman named Isabelle, or at least they think it’s an orphanage. The reality is that these children are being raised on a farm as free range livestock, or farm children. According to the demons, the smartest children have the tastiest meat, but only up to a certain age. When Emma and her friend Norman accidentally stumble across this knowledge, they, along with their friend Ray, do everything in their power to escape, with Emma as the lead.

Chainsaw Man
I read all of Chainsaw Man in three days and it was a totally awesome experience. When I first started reading, I honestly had no idea what I was in for. The series first piqued my interest on Tumblr when I started seeing different panel illustrations on certain blogs that I follow. I liked the artwork because it gave me a Tokyo Gxhoul-esque vibe, and that was enough for me to start. At first, I thought the story would revolve around Denji, the main character, and his escapades in his involvement with the Japanese mafia. I quickly realized after chapter one that this was not the case, not even a little bit. After being killed by the mafia, Denji forms a contract with his devil dog, Pochita, and revives in the form of the chainsaw devil, known as Chainsaw Man. Denji is soon meant with a plethora of other characters and becomes a Public Safety Devil Hunter. Soon after Denji accepts the PSDH position, chaos ensues.
