Fahrenheit 451’s Problem with Women
Before I even get into this, I love Fahrenheit 451. It has got to be one of my favorite books and one I can always go back to and enjoy again. And when you have read a story this many times, you notice new things and can create new interpretations.

Birds with the Best Avian Attire
On the eastern half of New Guinea and various other locations including eastern Indonesia and eastern Australia, there contains the bird family of Paradisaeidae. This bird family contains several genera (which then contain many species) of extremely unique-looking birds. And I’m not just talking about their color or chirp, these birds are wacky.

Kafka's "The Metamorphosis" and the Trans Experience
If I had a nickel for every time I've had to read "The Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka in an English class, I'd have two nickles. This double read has given me much time to consider this short story and what it is trying to communicate. But for a story about a salesman turning into a bug, who would have noticed its effectiveness as a trans allegory?
