The Look that Welcomes Me Home!
This day, like all the others came with confusion, and battles with the next person. From fighting traffic to going back and forth in office politics, trying to prove who is right and who is wrong for an extra $1000 jump in pay come review time. Yes the day may have many challenges and various events to keep me off tract, but somehow at the end of the day, seeing your face keeps me on the opposite side of a heart attack.

She's waiting for Marriage, He said let's go Dutch!
The days of men traditionally paying for dinner and entertainment is slipping out of the window. Did the new age modern women put him on this slope? I don't even know if I can do this justice in a short read, so a part 2 might have to follow. This is a very touchy subject in the dating world, but what's the big deal? Are we not all independent enough to pay for our own meals these days? What happen to the man stepping up and showing that he can provide?

May I kiss Your Caramel Skin Again?
Stability common to an ole time tune with a simple melody. Every time I see you with your hair straight, I can't help myself and I loose control when you get next to me. Now I can think of every feature, and admire every hair on your body down to the bone. I'm so connected to you and even when you're just in the kitchen, I feel so alone. Thought about you mid sentence, trying to stay in step with the man playing the slow saxophone; got lost in the moment thinking about kissing your beautiful caramel skin tone.

I stopped Fishing, because I don't Like Cats
First, cat and animal lovers, this has nothing to do with animals! If you have ever been a part of online dating, some of you will understand why I'm writing this article and some will not. Deception is the deepest form of betrayal. No one likes the feeling of being played like a fool, especially when the heart is involved. Ladies and gentlemen, I am going to give you some more reasons why the dating game has tanked.

The Reason why Men don't go on Dinner Dates Anymore.
We are loosing ground as we speak! Could this be at a point and time where we are already too late? Are the days of Wining and Dining completely behind us? I'm seeing more places with a table full of women out eating and less of the traditional couples enjoying each other's time. Women just recently celebrated "Galentine's Day" and event such is this one, is a true sign that women are not waiting on men to take them out anymore. We can say there is a display of independence, women not caring anymore, or whatever the case; men are taking a back seat to taking women out for dinner these days. Well, what's the problem? Is it a change of social times, or lack of training of young men? Unfortunately, we cannot tag the changing times to one specific area, but we see a common reason why men are pulling back.

A lazy Saturday Morning
Felt the sun on my back trying to introduce us to a new day. With a hard week behind us, neither one of us was welcoming to the introduction of a brand new day. Yes, that famous rotating "honey-do" list seemed to be so short as the number of items take mental steps through my head, but somehow, your list has more items than last week's list. Kids sound asleep after their usual marathon TV night's celebration after a long school week.

Mocha coffee Skin
Stopped by your page the other day, but you were not there! Just had to admire the way your eyes shine when the sun hits them with that late day glare. Now I may sound like the common guy with the occasional smooth word or rhythm with a slight poetic flow, but if I had the chance, I'd steal your heart before the end of the first show. Looking at the warmth of your skin, from the others you are far and set away in a special part. Quite sure that your heart can melt the snow and may cause some seas to part.

Bring Me my Food!
We all want to live in a perfect world. Admit it or not, we all like for the majority of things to revolve around us. We like things when we want it, NOW; and sometimes yesterday depending on the person. When it comes to food, this subject has to be right up there on the top of the list. Today, food delivery is the new and upcoming way to satisfy the void of the everyday hustle and bustle. Thank God to those brave men and women that fight metro traffic, to bring us all a warm meal that we couldn't cut out time to retrieve ourselves. Needless to say, we should lend them a helping hand outside of the occasional tip. Yes, I spent some time as a delivery driver and this one goes out to the high-rise and apartment dwellers.

Love Matters Session Number 4
I am going to come out the gates and say it! Most women just need to understand the difference of meeting men where they are and not think they are settling. The key in this thing we call dating should be to find a common ground with someone, and bring out the best in each other.

The Things Rideshare Drivers Don't Tell You
Yes, I had to speak out due to the consumed misunderstanding that is floating around with the expectations of Rideshare Drivers. I know I promised to make a statement or two about food deliveries and that is coming soon, but not in this piece. My lid just blew of the other day when I was surfing around social media and stumbled upon the conversation with the subject title "who decides the type of music? The driver or passenger?" Of course, there was a reasonable down the line response on both sides, but what really got me, was the nerve of some people who wanted to take over, and those are normally the passengers who are riding two blocks. You know the type that have a thousand request from turn the heat down to do you have lotion or bubble gum, and they are only in the vehicle for two minutes.

The Rideshare Experience!
Ok, gang! I wanted to chime in on this touchy subject, because the media has so many ideas on how to receive the most out of the rideshare experience, but they are clueless as usual. Having experience as a rideshare driver, I want to share some of my insight, and this will hopefully expand and improve your experience as a rideshare passenger. Now before we get into what I think could make both the rider and driver enjoy a time between the two, I have to let you know that I only share opinions with you and not factual information. Fear not, what I'm about to tell you will help you and bump your "Rider IQ" up and hopefully a less stressful time.

What has Social Media done to Dating?
Are we truly satisfied with the attention of one person? Very hard question to answer with the advancements of social media putting the access of millions in the palm of our hand. Unfortunately, the dating options has extended well beyond the limits of your local town, state or country for that matter. It all depends on how wide you want to explore and social media has bridged that gap for you and I. Is that a blessing or a curse? Well, that all depends on how you want to explore your options and what you are willing to put up with. I truly think that social media has inserted a type of laziness and "don't care" attitude in us all when it comes to dating.
