Writing has become more important as I live with cancer. It's a therapy, it's an escape, and it's a way to do something lasting that hopefully leaves an impression.

Take The Day
Roger Thorne returned from a meeting and went straight to his office. His secretary, Hillary, was surprised when he told her to cancel the rest of his day. He had important business to attend to and then sequestered himself in his office. It wasn’t like Roger, but as the boss, nobody questioned a change like that.

What's Going On In The Skies Above You
Is cloud seeding happening everywhere? It seems so. Just this week, on February 28th, 2025, I saw some odd activity in the skies. Figuring that it was military flights going into the stratosphere I shrugged off the sighting. Later, I received a message showing that some may believe there are cloud-seeding operations in the United States.

The Conduit: Chapter 4. Top Story - March 2025.
Max watched the detention unit for the next twenty-four hours, still dismayed by the age and appearance of the prisoner dubbed highly dangerous and of utmost importance to the group. She looked like she belonged in a freshmen dorm somewhere, not being treated like the world’s most dangerous terrorist. He sat in his office, watching the detention officers regularly circle the barrier field around her living space. She would watch them go around, as they checked the barrier field. She would follow their movements, and she complied with instructions when brought meals.

Hello Ellee
The building was abuzz with chatter about Ellee coming and tons of reporters blocked the sidewalks in front of 1603 Pennsylvania. Driving a cab in the city wasn't my dream job, but I made enough to catch up on some bills, find an affordable apartment, work my own hours, and pursue other avenues. So, I didn't complain.

The Conduit: Chapter 3
Max finished his call to report on the mysterious yacht found adrift. The Starry Night was found on anything but, and he was concerned by the timing of its appearance. The security team was going over it with a microscope, looking for any reason to cast it back to the sea before the arrival of their first detainee. So far, they hadn’t found anything more than the craft being mysteriously empty.

DOGE Might Be A Uniting Factor In America After All The Complaining
DOGE, or the Department of Government Expenditures, is a hot topic of debate between fervent supporters of the Democrats and the former administration led by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. People don’t like Donald Trump and billionaires are now villainized by the young and the entitled masses because they are richer than ever before. So, appointing Elon Musk as the face of DOGE was bound to be a polarizing decision.

The Conduit: Chapter 2
Chapter 2 Even at sea, a smoke-filled room can be found wherever there are risk-takers. Beneath the low-hanging light over the center of the table, Max and his department heads were enjoying well-earned downtime. It was after nine o’clock when Max flipped through the hand of cards in front of him. He looked around the room, reading the faces of his friendly opponents. Picking two blue chips from the table, he tossed them into the pot.
