The many hats we wear identify us, "Label" us and define our days in this life we live. At one time or another, you have probably worn more than one hat. Perhaps you found yourselves juggling multiple hats, switching them out as the day went by. If that hat suited you, you tried it on and went forward through your day, doing the best you could to wear the hat you needed at the moment. Did it fit you? Did you wear it well?

Don't Forget To Do Preventative Maintenance On Your Love Lives
When was the last time you did something special for someone in your life, just because? This is a perfect time of year to spread a little goodwill, put a smile on someone's face and enjoy the rewards for doing so. What you put out into the universe comes back to you, oftentimes ten-fold. The beautiful part about spreading goodwill to those that matter to you the most is that you're likely to reap the benefits of that act by just being there. Surprises are something that as we get older we say things like we hate surprises. We'll tell people how unnecessary they are. Then there's the tried and true, you shouldn't have.

I'm Going To Eternals Despite The Early Hate Critics Show
The more things change, the more they stay the same. Even Marvel's movies aren't immune from the grief of public scrutiny over issues like sexuality and politics. I remember thinking the same thing when Marvel released Black Panther. Then it was a matter of race that drove the hysterical fear, a fear that was later proven false after the images were proven to be faked. Now, Marvel's Eternals appears to be the next movie on the "haters" hit list.

The Wrong Suspect
It starts as a quiet day, drinking coffee and reading the paper on a fall Sunday morning. Before I know it, I need a shower and have started smoking again. My quiet Sunday morning, long in the rearview. I'm now dealing with flashes of the grotesque that occur each time I blink. My questioning should be short-lived. There's little reason to think I need to get a confession out of the girl's father. Leaving her in the squad room to wait for her grandparents, I go to visit with daddy.
