Many Talents
I'm one of those people who does a lot of things, and a few of them well. For example, I can follow a pattern, mend clothes, and sew passingly well. If I'm determined, as was the case with creating ruffles on my own for the first time, I can make things happen. I even made a costume for a friend's Christmas play (granted, she was playing the Virgin Mary, so it wasn't exactly a complicated costume). But when it comes to creating something with no pattern and no guidance? Maybe not.

The Voice
Do you know what I thought I was going to be when I grew up? An archeologist. An Egyptologist, to be more precise. Left field, I know. I was convinced that I would spend my days discovering tombs, mummies, and ancient artifacts. I eagerly devoured books about ancient Egypt, fascinated by their culture and how they made mummies. As I got older, however, I realized that I had no intention of being in the heat of the desert; never mind the scorpions and snakes I was likely to encounter.

Checking The List
I am what you would call a hopeless romantic. Ask any of my friends, they’ll tell you. I grew up loving Jane Austin novels and their movie adaptations, and dreamed of my wedding - of course, I was going to wear a princess-style ball gown and probably a tiara.
