How Other Countries Do Healthcare
You have to wonder why the United States doesn’t do free healthcare for all, how much they wring and gnash their hands at the prospect of universal healthcare. This idea is outright offensive to capitalist pigs in charge of our country right now. In Spain, according to NPR interviews, “most taxpayers don’t mind paying for it.” America is backwards. Why on earth does it not want to pay for healthcare? Yes we are capitalist, yes we want the best money can buy, and other money clichés. In Spain, the option of privately run clinics exists but you have to pay more for this type of care over the public health care system.

Longevity: Why I Want to Make it to the Next Century
I want to see what happens to the human race and this planet for one. For another, I would like to finish my life’s work. I know that type-1 diabetes means my life expectancy is 69, but come on. Seriously, I have yet to get my law degree. I have many advanced degrees I want but my life is stuck in a low-income rut. Diabetics do not necessarily die young. I will not necessarily be low-income my whole life. That’s ridiculous. Yes, my family thinks this, but none of my friends do.

Type 1 Diabetics Do Not Die Young
Diabetics do not die young. This is ridiculous. Your lifespan is not shortened by insulin, but rather prolonged. I plan on being around until like, 120 anyway because my aging process has already been slowed. It is ridiculous to assume I’m going to die young. Why the hell do you ignorant people think this anyway? I met a type-1 diabetic once who was already old. This was a grandfather of a friend of mine, who didn’t die of diabetes. He died of heart failure. I promised him I’m going to law school.

The Right to Adequate Healthcare
How many people have inadequate care? I mean, some are tied down to living paycheck-to-paycheck, but nobody wants to talk about that in polite company. Wages in the United States are stagnant right now, which might get worse. Healthcare is supposed to be a human right, but I know arch-Republicans don’t want people to have healthcare. They, in fact, want people to die. The higher elite keeps them as their lackeys. They like pushing us humans around. The Presidency is a puppet. To them, it’s a joke, no matter who is in the White House as a cover for their actions.

Healthcare and Democracy
I’m an independent for one, so I’m playing both sides. But at the same time, I have to say that Republican’s attempt to hijack the Affordable Care Act will not succeed. The Supreme Court ruling upheld the Affordable Care Act in 2012. (Washington Post) We have a shot at deposing many in the 2018 midterm elections though, so all is not lost. According to Real Clear Politics, the battle for the Senate is 44 Democrats to 47 Republicans. The battle for the house is 201 Democrats and 191 Republicans. The battle for governor is 20 Democrats and 22 Republicans. At some point, the two-party system has to go.

Why Should People Pay More?
Every health care system requires a patient, the company that pays for the patient, and a health care provider. Single payer simply means that there would be one payer, the government. People currently have means to get coverage by purchasing a plan from one insurance company, hopefully with coverage for all their major expenses. There isn’t always a need to buy health insurance in today’s market because the government is not always involved with Medicaid. Bernie Sanders-I,VT, in 2017, had introduced a single-payer bill in late September, with 16 Democratic co-sponsors. (Chicago Tribune)

The Mess That Is Health Care
With the ongoing health care fiasco in the United States, we all have to take seriously where we are going with this. Any one politician can’t make everybody happy. New federal rules allow insurers to deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions. This is terrifying for those of us with pre-existing conditions because it locks out people from getting coverage. The mess that is health care is becoming a hot mess every passing day. New rules allow insurers to deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions, which institute annual lifetime caps.

Why Commuting Sucks
Okay, commuting sucks. Why do you torment yourself with the rat race in the first place? I’m challenging my readers to think for themselves. Why are you commuting so far to a job you are qualified for because they said so? Why the hell do you torment yourself with commuting, coffee, and flirting with daily exhaustion since that coffee hypes you up? Why do you commute? If you take a bus to work, I’m cool with that. But I’m challenging modern commuting habits in this piece. I want you guys to think long and hard about why you commute.

The Work From Home Revolution
The work from home revolution is upon us. Indeed.com is the most trustworthy website to find decent work from home gigs. This is because some websites are not to be trusted if they have many scams listed without fact-checking their jobs. Apparently, in 2015, 24 percent of American workers are work from home people. Fields such as management, business, and financial operations have work from home allowances with 38 percent of people working from home. People 25 years of age or older have bachelor’s degrees, with 39 percent of those people working from home. Working from home is a new trend out there. It means that people are sick of commuting to a typical office environment where there is politics.

Volunteer Work
I have several ideas on how to volunteer my time in my city. I can become a volunteer reading tutor, which would be a great experience to add to my resume. I need to do something with my time besides writing. I also need to join city council at some point. The library also needs library service volunteers, which I can also do. I’m looking to do something with my time daily besides my career readiness classes. I want to join my homeowners' association group for example. I can also take a disaster readiness class because I really need to put together a disaster readiness kit before the next earthquake hits. I was also thinking about starting up a routine with volunteering for NAMI.

What Is CPTSD?
CPTSD is a severe form of PTSD, which is not easy to deal with. CPTSD comes from long-term exposure to harsh situations, behavior, and abuse. It is a response to real trauma. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a very real mental illness that many war veterans get when they reintegrate into civilian life, besides what abuse victims get. PTSD is a mental health problem people get from seeing intense trauma that never ends. My childhood felt like this, pain that never ended, a pain I still remember. This is why I have CPTSD because I have had to suffer real trauma from family members.

Quit Your Anti-Medication Stigma
I have to say that I’m floored every time I deal with an anti-medication/anti-vaxxer New Ager. That’s nuts. I mean, I need to use Western medicine to stay alive at all. If I’m irresponsible even once, it could kill me. Yes, it is true. One lapse of responsibility and I’m a goner. This is why I need to be responsible for taking my medication, something some of you cannot hope to grasp. So this is why whenever I do any kind of psychic training classes in the Bay Area, I need to be on the same page with you people.
