Just Twelve
She had no control over her response now. She just sobbed and sobbed, even after all her tears were exhausted. She lay, out of breath, on the bathroom floor, one hand on the doubtful pregnancy test and the other on her chest. Her thoughts are fast now, they raced passed each other. How does she tell her parents? What would she even say? How would she even look at them? Just three weeks ago, they hosted a huge party for her as she turned twelve. The last year of youth, but more accurately for her, now that the test had two red marks.

Maple & Ash
Beautiful entrance, gorgeous hostesses, dark wood finishes and of course a hive of activity! This is Maple & Ash in Scottsdale, Arizona. My husband wanted to treat me to an upmarket establishment. He had an idea but I managed to talk him out of that and into this. He gladly made the reservation. Looking at some information on their website, I had learned that they have something called the Tower Hour, which is quite unique, as most restaurants have a cocktail hour. Although that's nice too, so is a cup of green tea. Cocktail hours, in my opinion, are outdated and if you associate yourself with that crowd of patrons, it's not a good look... for me at least. The limited menu for the Tower Hour is separate from the regular menu and the hours are 17:00 - 18:00, Monday to Fridays and served only at the bar & lounge area. That might explain the hive of activity upon entering.

The Unconditional Type
We grew up together. He is a part of my earliest memories. At that time, I didn't know he loved me. I just thought we were good friends because we were always together. I would feel so sad when I would be put down for my nap, as that would mean I couldn't play with him. I only realized it was love when I was in my thirties.
