Not a Witch
Let me set the scene: You’re huddled on the couch with all the lights out, taking cover under your blankets as you watch the horror movie play out on the TV screen. The blanket is balled up in your tight fists as the minor keys of the orchestra keep you on the edge of your seat. Because of the drop in key, you know a jump scare is coming.

One Man's Trash
It’s been a stressful day. I’m awaiting a refill on my anxiety medication; this amplifies even the most minor of situations. I’m unemployed despite hours of applying for jobs, and I’m overwhelmed when I think about my finances. I need something to take my mind off things and still my shaking hands.

What It Takes to Be a Bear
My Bedtime Anytime Storybook by V. Gilbert Beers is a collection of stories that follows six friends—Bru the bear, KaWally the koala, McWhiskers the mouse, PJ the zebra, Puddles the hippo, and Tux the penguin—who learn lessons about friendship, sharing, forgiveness, and working together. It’s a fun storybook with the occasional subtle nod to God being the Creator of all living things.
