Emmanuel Jean-Michel Frederic Macron, forty-year-old man born in Amiens, France was elected to French office in 2017, after serving as both Minister of the Economy and Minister of Industry and Digital Affairs, is currently facing what could quite possibly be the toughest time of his presidency as his office is threatened with protests that are rapidly spreading across the nation.

If I Die
Stonewall Inn, Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York. Over the course of three days, Stonewall Inn would bare witness to one of the most pivotal protests in the LGBT community. In the early morning of June 28, 1969, there was a police raid on Stonewall Inn, where the LGBT community stood their ground for 3 days against the officers. The inn was owned and operated by the New York Mafia, specifically by the Genovese crime family which was operated by Vincent "The Chin" Gigante. During the late sixties, the mafia in New York owned and operated many of the gay bars and clubs throughout Manhattan.

The TV show, Insatiable, features childhood actor Debby Ryan in a fat suit, enduring years full of bullying due to her weight. Ryan loses a drastic amount of weight and plans to enact revenge on the students who relentlessly bullied her.

Yet the Italian mafia is anything but pure fiction. It was, in fact, very real, and contrary to popular belief, started not in New York City, which would later be home to the five families, but instead, the Italian Mafia first set foot in America down south in New Orleans, Louisiana.

2015, Star Wars: The Force Awakens hit theaters, awakening a fandom that had been asleep for nearly ten years, the fans slipping into the shadows waiting for a reason to emerge from the woodwork. The release of The Force Awakens introduced us to a variety of characters that even the oldest of fans fell in love with. Yet, a faint cloud of ambiguity surrounded these new characters, mainly due to the extreme air of diversity that was introduced that many were not used to seeing in the previous six films.
