An Extremely Needed Reboot...
It wasn’t long ago before I was cleansing the hard drive of my older computer while coming across a video I’ve made as of seven years ago, and I got hypnotized watching it bringing back a great amount of memories I’ve gathered up to before I quit. The emotions hit me at once to the point where I’d start to tear up while watching the short video repeatedly. It consisted of roughly several shots captured on my then standard definition camcorder chopped and skewed to match the tempo of the royalty free instrumental I came across somehow. I remember I had intentions to release this but I never got to do it. However, it did get me thinking about the first evening it happened that changed my life and helped me gain another passion other than writing and music. One where it led down a rabbit hole of art and creativity.

Off the Port
The sea salt from the waves crashing into the shores blended while the stagnant force of the wind blew past me while standing at the foot of the bay. I waited, and waited for what felt like hours until I could spot the ship, remembering my confrontation with one of the big time mobster was, “You took someone I cared about from me, your bomber made a huge mistake. Now it’s time for me to get even… and believe me, you don’t know who you’re messing with… nor will you see it coming.”

Dear Journal, Taking a brief look outside the tinted, magenta-filtered window where the gentle force blew a loose plastic bag through the streets in a stream of autumn leaves while the sounds of the streets filled up my ears, admiring my first night in a new town, and soaking in my new lifestyle allowing me to breath more when I remembered how desperately I wanted what I had now. I looked on my phone to see any notifications that caught my interest while waiting for her in the meantime, my heart was racing a bit considering the fact that this is my first date I’ve had in five years since the last one ended in pure heartbreak at my expense.

The Book That Called My Name
It was one of the darkest times in my life when I went inside a thrift store to apply for a job right off of McHenry Ave. one afternoon. The darkest cloud to ever hang from my head was that year where I was coming off of rejection from my high school crush while simultaneously adjusting to life out in an area completely new to my senses and the only people I know are my family members. Life just hadn’t gone the way I had hoped, my head was too focused on the bright future I had written myself since before graduating high school.

The BEST Impulse Buy I’ve Made as a Videographer
The creative world of photography and videography has held my attention since as long as I can remember, from the moment I got my first Nikon DSLR to now, it has been a tremendous journey I’ve been through over the years. The landscape has gone through some changes although one thing remains the same, pursuing the best tool around to tackle both photography and videography for content creation, which has accelerated its cycle more so than when I first got a hold of a DSLR of my own. Recently I’ve gone through an endless amount of research to perfect my choice of my next videography tool because there are merely two types of content creating I do now that are crucial to my library.
