It's been a hard year. Throughout the world, millions of families have been affected either directly or indirectly by COVID-19. Healthcare workers have been on the frontlines handling unimaginable terror on a daily basis while certain political figures have downplayed the severity of this novel virus. I've personally known about a dozen family members who caught it and a few who had to be hospitalized because of it.

Dear Reader, let me give you some insight on my adolescent self growing up. I spent every waking moment during childhood with my eyes glued onto the TV. I would try to stay up on a school night because Ghost was on. I identified with Sophia Petrillo when I was 8 years old. I had a physical TV Guide and highlighted programs I anticipated watching because this would potentially be the only time I'd be able to watch Dumb and Dumber until it aired on TBS again - We have a connection, you see! The movie released the same year I was born so I have to watch it!
