How Do Digital and In-Person Interactions Affect Wellbeing?
With social media on the rise and with the worries about privacy starting to surge, it's important to remember that strong relationships benefit humans. There are many studies that show that when we're connecting with another person that we feel better than when we're alone. But some people argue that interactions that are primarily digital, such as those on social media, come less naturally than face-to-face interactions. Some studies have shown that the amount of time people spend on their phones can have negative consequences on mental health. There have been mixed findings from these studies and thus it is not clear whether people should be scrolling on their phone or spending more time outside.

Making Friends as a Man Is Hard
I used to be very social, but these days I prefer staying at home and tending to my plants than going out. I can't find the reason why or when this happened, but now that it has I am happy with it. I was pondering about the fact that people get lonely and that sometimes people even need to take themselves out of society for a bit. As I'm getting older, I'm noticing how difficult it is to socialize and I'm on my own.

Although we have to cope with these changes, the best way to deal with them is to prepare in advance. People can get better at how they interpret the stress they experience, but we can't learn to be immune to it.

Which is better: an arranged marriage or a love marriage?
In western society, we view arranged marriages as outdated, and heinous in some cases. However, I believe that in doing so, we disregard many important aspects of an arranged marriage. Statistically, an arranged marriage has a lower likelihood of divorce. I believe this is due to these pairings' heightened sense of commitment. Driven by culture, these couples have a sense of duty towards marriage. Arranged couples begin a marriage without love, and expect it to last a lifetime. They are statistically more likely to make it last a lifetime! It’s hard to believe that these couples never grow to love each other. I’m sure that many grow to love each other unconditionally. So, this practice seems to do a better job of upholding the permanence of marriage. Which, really is the entire concept of marriage outside of religious factors. But, I don’t know that arranged marriages are the better practice.
