HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DADDY
It was one very early morning, Mummy had attended a Woman's Group meeting in the village and you were waiting for her return. You sat patiently at the doorstep and sang your favourite songs. It was always the sweetest lullaby in my ears to hear you sing. Whenever I turned in my sleep and heard your voice, I knew you were still awake and there was no need for me to be afraid of the dark. I was probably 5 or 6 years old at that time when I had a terrible nightmare that morning. I was sobbing and you gently carried me and sat me on your lap. You listened attentively as I told you my dream and the shadows on the wall that were worrisome to me. You wiped my tears and then you prayed. You commanded the evil spirits lo leave in Jesus name and BANG! They fled through the back door, banging the walls as they went! I never forget this experience Daddy. I loved prayer there and then. Thank you for teaching me through that encounter that the prayer of a righteous man availeth much. I love you so much Daddy! Happy Father's Day in Heaven!
