PERCEIVE
I remember as a child growing up, I always look forward to night times where I could go to bed, close my eyes and imagine things. Every night was a continuation from where I left before dozing off the previous night. I imagined all kinds of things that I even created a vision board without realizing it. I imagined myself as someone from a particular family, having a certain skin tone and hair color and going to places with my parents. I remember cutting out pictures from magazines and sticking them onto one of my exercise books dedicated for that purpose. It was enjoyable doing it and I loved it! I don't know when I stopped and why I did. But that was my world of being a child, free from worries and stress, free in my mind, free to create an imaginary world where I found my excitement in. Now if you ask me to tap into this child in me and redo those things, the experience would be different. I would look forward to night times so I can get good night rest.

Thank you Lord for 2025. You showed me your grace and faithfulness in one of the most darkest years of my life. You light up my world with fireworks from the start to the end. Amazing, amazing, amazing! I am still speechless by how you do things. Surely your ways are above and beyond my imaginations. Just when I thought my world was going down, you showed me that it isn't. You showed me that darkness is the perfect moment for fireworks. I am humbled and grateful to be alive to witness this new beginning.

Well Prepared This Time
I was in Grade 1, very small and shy girl who joined the class mid-way through the year. I had never participated in any school games nor heard the sound of a starter pistol before. The school's sports carnival week began and all the school kids made their way down to the playing field for track events to begin. My class was signaled out for a short distance race so our class teacher got everyone of us onto the starting line. "Ready ... get set,"... "BANG!" .... I got a shock of my life and almost ran away to take cover! Supporters including my teacher screamed and told me to run towards the finishing line with the rest. By the time I realized what had happened, it was too late. Everyone was already running so I followed. I came last and cried bitterly on my dad's lap. Hehehe. Such is life.

A STOP TO PRAY
At some point in our journey, we arrive at a place where we stop and realize that there is a God who knows everything about us and still cares for us. We see his guidance through a friend, his love through a meal, his wisdom through the nature, and the countless blessings which we enjoy for free most of the time. We often take for granted the air we breath, the body we have, the mind we posses and the so many talents and gifts that we are blessed with. There is God that lives and we are grateful. May our stop to thank Him be at a place where we serve Him, whether it be a prayer of thanks, an act of kindness to a needy, a word of encouragement to a heavy hearted, or whatever your heart feel it's right to do. May we stop to pray, to thank God for His goodness.

A Time For Everything. Top Story - October 2025.
I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, exhaled and smiled as I opened my eyes. Seeing stalks sprouting gracefully and vines colliding into each other in unity as they tangle their way through the mosses with force made me to realize that bare land can even surprise you over time when graced with dew and time.
