Water Woes
With the prospect of drought conditions as severe as the dust bowls of the 1930's this summer and with the current water troubles in Flint Michigan, Tampa, Florida and so many other areas in the United States it is imperative that the Biden Administration's infrastructure plan's first priority is clean fresh water transfer systems to fill aquifers that have been depleted especially in the Mid-West . This, so that in the event that there is severe drought conditions the effects would be greatly reduced. It is these water transfer systems much like the oil pipeline in Alaska that would ensure enough clean fresh water from areas that receive enough rainfall or snow runoff be available to drought affected regions across the United States. If we can build transfer systems for oil we sure as hell can do it for fresh clean water.

Inside Out
As someone once said the times they are changing. I guess from a personal perspective no truer words could have said it best. Who ever thought that years ago our society would now be overwhelmed with not only a deadly pandemic but a world filled with hate, suffering and unimaginable horror where countless millions desperately cling to any shred of salvation from their daily misery. A far cry from the days when I was young.

Fresh Water: A Basic Right
Water! The most precious of all things Through-out history wars have been fought over the right to claim water rights. Like a nations finances, governments ability to control the availability of water is the other source in determining the destiny of populations. Transparency and effective governance of water is the prerequisite for all human and animal development. It also ensures environmental stability. Yet we especially here in the United States take the supply of readily available access of water for granted. We waste it, we squander it, we horde it, we pollute it, and generally abuse the supply we have.

A Country Without Pity
These are the times that try men's souls. If you really think about it. The times of today where so much anger, hate, confusion and bewilderment about what the hell is happening to our world defies logic. From a pandemic that should never have been, to an unimaginable global humanitarian crisis and our own government where those little minds {Republican and Democrats} keep tearing this nation apart contributes toward the downward trajectory of mankind.

The Last Faberge's: Midnight In Moscow
The turbulence during the first World War coinciding with the rise of the Bolsheviks led to the intrigue surrounding the Last Tsar of Russia. The last Tsar who had amassed a treasure beyond imagination was still waiting to be found. A treasure that vanished just as the storming Bolsheviks seized power and brought down the House of Romanoff. It was 1917 a period of discontent in Moscow. The cries of the populace spurring open revolt in violent overthrow of the ruling class. It was during this time that Nicholas hid his vast fortune hoping to retrieve it and restore his rightful place as ruler of all of Russia. A treasure so vast was lost to history.

Betrayed
When seasons change there is always a certain anxiety in the air. Many people wonder what a new season will bring. The anticipation of positive change or a foreboding premonition of unsettling times ahead are the two distinct realities facing when seasons change. if this past year was any indication of what a new season brings more of us understandably acknowledge those foreboding premonitions of more difficult times still lay ahead.

The Old Wise Man From The Woods
Not so long ago in a land far away there once was a wise man who came from far away. A stately man by outward appearances. Silver gray hair and beard to match, standing 6ft. 2 with eyes a piercing blue. The weathered look of his face showed years of overcoming struggles to survive. And, yet there was an eerie inner peace that seemed to glow whenever he smiled.

The Missing Pages Of American History Part III
Many of us are taught that the Constitution of the United States is the law of the land. Unfortunately, the Constitution has been ignored, deemed not reasonable in the 21st century and otherwise become irrelevant in the way congress has acted for the past 160 years. The desecration of our Original Constitution by Congresses past manipulations to circumvent certain articles has opened up a Pandora's Box of contingencies that are little known by the American public. All of which continues to enrich the Power Brokers to control the destinies of countless millions of American's.

When You Pay Peanuts
With all the congressional delays concerning the latest Covid-19 stimulus bill that includes raising the minimum wage there are many factors that have to be addressed by business owners and government. We have to remember that in order to have a balanced and stable economy, one that distributes wealth proportionally in societies is to adhere to the "Williams Theory of Economic Evolution." The theory states: the more people with enough disposable income to spend, save, pay down debt and invest is the greatest deterrent to an unstable economy. And, today our economy is anything but stable. That being said when our government is focused on mandating the federal minimum wage to reach $15 per hour within the next four years points the United States in the right direction toward stabilizing our economy. But, more has to be done to close the greatest wealth disparity gap in our history. Just mandating increasing the minimum wage won't even come close.

Tales My Father Never Told Me
I guess my earliest recollection of my father's exploits occurred when I was about eight or nine. As was the family custom to always sit down to dinner promptly at 6, I can remember in joyous excitement when my father recounted the days when he was young. The "good old days" as my father so fondly recalled. There was this one evening when the dishes were cleared as my father lit another Camel cigarette leaned over and said let me tell you a story of how I managed to get through school. Leaning back in the comfort of his high back chair as he exhaled smoke, " Son, back in the fall of '23 was the best year yet. I still have my raccoon coat upstairs in that closet to the left. The one I wore to all the football games that my roommate Red Grange played. The galloping ghost they called him." As I sat quite still leaning forward to here every word I remember how the gleam in his eye shown as he remembered his glory days of a bygone era.

Plan B
There are many concerns today regarding the very real possibility that another pandemic of some sort could endanger every American. The very thought of such a catastrophe happening again when the government agencies that are currently in place to protect the public and guard against the likelihood of such an event isn't very reassuring considering what the governmental response has been with this current Covid-19 Pandemic and in the wake of Katrina and the Gulf Oil spill.

Critical Condition
It seems that who ever inscribed the Georgia Guide Stones when they scripted reducing the worlds population to be in balance with nature may become a real reality today. That maybe has just become a reality. Here in the United States we are doing a real fine job of doing just that considering how we failed to fully protect our citizens from the onslaught of this deadly Pandemic. Over 450,000 deaths so far this past year alone from Covid-19 infections. We haven't really focused on the thousands of others who have died from other causes that can be attributed to so many other factors that have plagued our society for decades.
