Where Are Yesterday's Hero's?
At a time so distant where ordinary men were called upon to do extraordinary things heroes were born. It was at the turn of the 20th century that Theodore Roosevelt rode into the history books. During the First World War Black Jack Perishing and Sergeant York galloped into American consciousness. Then came yet another great war where Audie Murphy, Eisenhower, Patton, MacArthur, FDR, and so many others whose heroic exploits and decisions made it possible for the world to emerge from unimaginable evil and horror. In doing so they captured the imagination of generations.

The Lost Tribes
Through-out the ages there have always been unanswered questions that have mystified, perplexed and confounded man. So many of these unanswered questions have to do with lost civilizations. The Mayans, the Aztecs and even the people of Atlantis have all contributed to histories unsolved mysteries as to what happened. It is on that scale that many historians and biblical scholars have been searching for over a thousand years to understand what really happened to the lost tribes of Israel.

Shakespeare couldn't have written a better screen play of a tragedy or should we say travesty that is playing through-out the United States and the world. Perilous times have arrived. The world that we used to know has suddenly and violently altered the lives and livelihoods of millions. The overwhelming failures of governments especially in the United States to deal effectively with the scourge of this pandemic and the unilateral failure to implement radical reforms to combat the catastrophic consequences of Global Warming have made our planet and every society become vulnerable to the most catastrophic environmental and economic disaster since the last Ice Age.

Olympic Caliber
This being an Olympic year so many really don't know the full extent of what goes into making an Olympic athlete. The physical and mental progression from one level to another as well as the financial expenditures to complete the journey from a youthful hopeful up the ranks until they are recognized as an elite caliber athlete is a life long pursuit. For too many the journey ends way to early. For others the financial strain is too great to overcome. Then there are still others whose physical attributes makes it impossible to reach the pinnacle of athletic success.

Enhancing The Human Experience
Back in college there was an old Professor that stood tall in lecture halls. A billowing booming voice that could wake even the sleepiest of us sitting in those God forsaken wooden chairs back when Universities were so barren of all the technologies and convinces of today. I remember as though it was yesterday. Professor Franklin we'd all called him. White shirt, bow tie, elbow patched brown sport coat, and always those gray trousers. Unmistakable were those trademarks. Everyone recognized Professor Franklin.

In doing so they will greatly reduce the carbon emissions that are having disastrous consequences to every economy around the world. The transformation from diesel and gas to all electric automobiles has already taken a giant step toward revolutionizing transportation across the globe.
