Ranking Disney Princesses by Vibe (Not Movies)
Now, officially (as in, from the mouth of The Mouse) there are only thirteen princesses in their canon tier. Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Pocahontas, Mulan, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Merida, Tiana, Rapunzel, Moana, and the newly introduced Raya.

The Sweet Moments
Rhiannon carefully spoons portions of the plain greek yogurt into the bowl, the thick white cream then being mottled with chocolate cake mix. When it’s mixed to her liking, she reaches over and adds just a dollop of whipped cream- why, when she’s already got yogurt to substitute the eggs, she isn’t sure . . . but it was just a familiar motion and she decided it wouldn’t hurt a lick. She stirs carefully, humming under her breath to the record playing low on the other side of the wall that separates her kitchen and living room. Her hip leans against the wooden counter in front of the wide open window, ferns and a bursting flower box of daffodils nearly overtaking the small port window. The gentle breeze blows in the smells of her herb garden, her gardenias just below that skirt the porch, and the warning of a spring shower. At this time of day sunshine can pour in through the window, and when it hits the couple of suncatchers she has interspersed between her windchimes along the edge of the roof, rainbow refractions flash along the tawny skin of her arm like dancing fairies. Rhiannon gulps in the sweet air and inhales slowly, absorbing the bliss of the moment and mentally giving thanks for a good day.

The Withered Barn
Sunlight edges the top of the fluttering treeline, shafts of light punching through sporadically and highlighting the scene before her. The long dirt behind her was threatened on both sides by unruly brambles and too tall grass. The daisies and dandelions pushed through belligerently, unable to stand idly by as the world grew around them. Anita glanced down at her combat boots, the peeling patches just above the edge of her soles and at the tip of her toes, nearly hidden by the thick layer of dust creeping up the laces. With a sigh she settles her weight along the hood of the beat up truck she had earnestly kept from its well-deserved final rest in a junkyard.

Treating Myself with Vocal Earnings
Imagine my surprise when I got an email telling me, "You've received a $50.00 tip from Vocal!" Who the hell liked one of my articles enough to put such a large tip up? Well, turns out I've hit the big five-o. Combining that with the other tips and earnings I've made over the course of three years . . . suddenly, I was well over the limit to withdraw money from my wallet. I've had a couple of plans for what I could buy if I ever won a Challenge (which I'm . . . not any closer to doing, but hey whatever) and suddenly I had a little pocket change to see at least two of those dreams through.

Tropic Duet- Your Gemini Horoscope
Gemini Season: May 20 - June 21 Element: Air Ruling planet: Mercury Happy birthday Gemini babes! You wonderfully intuitive creatures; knowledgeable and curious, loving and charming. The air is warming, the earth rises from a wintry slumber, and we're still in this fucking pandemic. As (generally speaking) an incredibly sociable sign, this past year has been hard for you hasn't it? You've been restricted, and unable to bask in the buzz of a good time like you have been perhaps.

The Dark Side of The Moon
On April 4th, my chest ached. I wasn't physically hurt, nothing had impacted my breastbone or anything . . . but sometimes I got like this. A restless irritation buzzing in my limbs, a tight chest that felt like a heavy weight was pressing down on it, and this urge like I was going to cry (and a serious fear that I wouldn't be able to stop). I was not comfortable standing and pacing, nor was it any better to curl up into as tight a ball as possible. My existence was discomfort and my focus was unrelentingly focused on that.

The Best Little Tasty Treats in Orlando
There is a lot to do, a lot to see, and a lot to experience in beautiful Orlando, FL. Theme parks, concerts, International Drive alone is its one sort of amazing tourist attraction . . . but how about our amazing food? I'm not talking about theme park restaurants either. Let go of the hold "Mythos" or "Be Our Guest" has on your minds because I'm only talking about the cream of the crop of local eateries!

Aim For The Heavens
I've always liked zodiacs. My first experience with them was reading the little paper one left on top of a table at the Chinese buffet my family used to go to in my childhood. I loved the fact that both my father and I were he year of the Dog- my favorite animal! My mother was the year of the Rabbit, and wasn't it just a funny coincidence that my mother's nickname was Bunny?

Bad Girls Deserve Flowers Too
Sometimes the girls are plucky, innocent, hysterical victis of chance and fate as they escape certain death. Although sometimes the girls aren't the heroes, and instead the very thing you ought to run from. Saucy, lovely, nasty, never afraid to get down and dirty for their desires, and most unwilling to let a good deed go unpunished. Fiona Goode from American Horror Story, Amanda from SAW, Nancy from The Craft . . . the list can just go on. All women with a little damage, and a lot of repressed issues, who wear them as proudly as Chanel coats and velvet matte lipsticks.
