So You Have Writer's Block
The cursor keeps blinking on the screen of your laptop. The pen (or pencil if you dig those old school vibes) lays idly on the side of the notebook; sometimes you pick it up, thinking the feel of it will inspire some reflex that sparks up an idea before you lay it back down in defeat. You keep tapping the screen of your phone as you open up a tiny Notes app hoping at least a word will strike you.

Lifeguard: Five Things I Learned From It
I live in the beautiful sunshine state, Florida. Compared to others, I may have gotten into the life-guarding gig a little late (I started at twenty-two), but I figure every person who lives in a state with beaches lining it up and down ought to try being a lifeguard at least once in their life. In the city of Orlando, there are a lot of water parks, and I happen to work in the newest one: Volcano Bay. Not only was I getting used to being a lifeguard, I also had to contend with the struggles of a major theme park opening. If you've clicked on this because you too are contemplating joining up, then I sincerely hope what I offer can help you make a better informed decision. If you have opened this up on a lark, then it might just give you a good chuckle or two.

#KuriStory #HeyKuri The sun shone brightly, a sharp contrast to the chilly wind that nipped at bare skin. It forced shoulders to hunch and steps to quicken as scores of people walked to classrooms, restaurants, or dorms on the university campus. Fall had erupted on the grounds with an explosion of oranges and golds, leaving fallen leaves like so much flotsam to litter pathways and adorn car windshields in the parking lots. In front of the science building, the parking lot was mostly empty save a few cars here and there. Most people had taken advantage of the space to park far away from the tree lined sidewalks to avoid the trees. However, on the far right of the parking lot there was only a single car, parked right underneath a large tree. The leaves were falling rapidly from this particular specimen, creating a brightly hued blanket for the hatchback.

Have You Read This Yet? 'Milk and Honey' by Rupi Kaur (Pt. 2)
In the first article of this series, I introduced the book Milk and Honey, a book mixed of poetry and an autobiography. The stark truths were hard to swallow as they came relentlessly and without embellishment. Plain, concise, and simple the truths were hard hits that compelled me to continue reading. When I Realized I Am Aromantic
Never have I ever felt a fluttering in my tummy relating to another human being. Never have I ever looked at other couples and felt a gaping wound at my side, as if realizing I was without an important limb everyone else had. I've honestly just...never really felt inclined to date anyone. I've never even had a crush. I'm twenty-two-years-old and have never once dated and, though it's never bothered me, the solo act, I have often wondered why I wasn't feeling the urge for it. Why did I never call up my friends, bemoaning a lack of significant other with which to cuddle and snuggle and lose myself in romantic overtures with?

So Here is Why 'The Cabin in the Woods' is One of My Favorite Horror Movies
You may or may not have heard of this movie. Premiered in 2011, featured an early Chris Hemsworth before he was chosen by Mjolnir, and had a kickass story line with a great cast. To be perfectly honest The Cabin in the Woods wasn't a huge success box office success because it was sort of like a hidden gem, the birth of what would become a cult classic.
