Life after the Loss of Our Child
I Need A Magic Wand I am not perfect, and I don’t have it all figured out. Although, I am at a good place in my grieving process. Therefore, when I see someone who I’ve befriended on Facebook or personally and I know they are struggling with the grief of losing their son/daughter, it breaks my heart. I wish I could help them get to that place of peace that I have reached. I would love to help them try to live fully in memory of their child. If only they knew what I’ve learned on how to live life after losing our child. Can I get a magic wand to make that pain go away?

The Spunky 5-Year Old and the Dingy Old Crucifix
I Met A Little Boy Every time I switch out purses, I come across my dingy old crucifix. It’s a silver and gold-colored crucifix with green gemstones and is made of some sort of plastic material. It is missing one gemstone. A spunky 5-year-old little boy with beautiful green eyes gifted the crucifix to me. His name was Timothy.

How a Tragic Death Awakened My Soul to Who I Truly Am
My name is Debbie and I am a Spiritualist and a medium. Yes, I speak to dead people. Ahhh, it feels good to say it. It took me a very long time to come to terms with who I really am. I have always been shy, compliant, and a law-abiding citizen who was always trying to please everyone even if it was at my own expense. I never argued or belittled anyone, nonetheless, anger anyone in any way. It was always me sacrificing myself for someone else’s benefit. I was also a Christian though this phase in life was only to drown the voices in my head, my intuition, and the apparitions. But it all changed on that dreadful night in July.

Arriving in Bordeaux Bordeaux is a bustling city in the southwest of France. It is home to many vineyards and chateaus where the worldwide known Bordeaux wines come from. Bordeaux is quite popular among tourists. I was not expecting so many, especially during the slow season in late October. It is a beautiful city with its Gothic and Romanesque styles of architecture, many of which are recognized as UNESCO Heritage Site.

I Inherited an 80-Year-Old Chenille Vintage Bedspread from my Grandmother in the Spirit World
A Priceless Gift I inherited my grandmother’s 80+-year-old vintage Chenille bedspread and am ecstatic about it! It is white with patterns of flowers in pink and yellow raised yarn. The bedspread is in pristine condition. I once read somewhere on the internet that Chenille dates back to the 18th century and originated in France. But do not take my word for it because I can not recall the source.

Comments on Daily Struggles of an 81-Year-Old and His Daughter Articles Ripped Me to Pieces
I wrote a few articles regarding my interaction with my 81-year-old father. While in some writing platforms it went rather well, in another it did not. Some comments were horrific. They shredded me to pieces. The commenters bombarded me with accusations of being an inconsiderate, ungrateful, and spiteful daughter who does not appreciate her father. I ignored the comments since no one knows what goes on behind my closed doors, but I ended up deleting the articles to avoid any further commenting. I am a peaceful person and do not want any negativity to affect me or my writing.

I Was Away But Not Because I Wanted To I’ve been away from writing for about a month now. No writing, no reading, no interaction with anyone. Not that I have nothing to write about, on the contrary. I have so much to write about! First, my husband and I took a two-week vacation traveling through five countries in Europe. See, that alone is plenty to write about. It was amazing and the best trip we’ve done so far. But once we arrived home, illness struck me. It was not COVID or any disease I brought from abroad. It was something else building up as time went by.
