i was swimming along like i usually do, upside down so i could see the world from a different view the sunlight leaks through the water
your eyes are the exact color blue of the seas i wish to sail sometimes i get lost in them thinking of the paths that we will trail
when we were little, you held us as tots just silly children, with simple thoughts so small then, so happy and young to those moments, you have lovingly clung
remove my shoes from my weary feet peel off my socks and i feel complete the moment i feel you plush under my toes i know that i have been welcomed home
