What You Missed From 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch'
The Bad Batch is here, and Star Wars fans are justifiably over the moon about the new animated show. Taking off where The Clone Wars Season 7 left off, The Bad Batch is visually stunning and starring several The Clone Wars veterans. Dee Bradley Baker and Stephen Stanton both reprise familiar roles while Dave Filoni is credited as the show creator. Fans of the Filoni's previous animated work can attest to the high quality of Star Wars stories that Lucasfilm animation has produced in recent years, with The Bad Batch seemingly following suit. No doubt every second of this show will be combed over for Easter eggs, references, nods, and callbacks. While we wait for the next episodes to drop over the coming weeks, here are several things you may have missed upon first watch of "Aftermath." Needless to say, this article will contain massive spoilers for the new show, so get yourself over to Disney+ and get caught up with events in a galaxy far, far away before reading further.

All Of The May The 4th 'Star Wars' Content On Disney+
At the beginning of April, Disney released several new bits of Star Wars content on its streaming platform, although the term “new” might be a bit misleading here, as all the releases are at least nearly two decades old: Starting with the Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars series (2003 – 2005), the two made for TV Ewok movies Caravan of Courage and Battle for Endor, the animated Ewoks series, and going all the way back to the animated segment The Story of the Faithful Wookiee, which is probably the only watchable part of the Star Wars Holiday Special (1978), where the audience is first introduced to Boba Fett.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Could Have Been Way Different
The most popular recent addition to the two most popular theme parks in the world, Disneyland and Disney World, has been the Star Wars section of each park. Once Disney purchased the rights to the most popular film franchise in history, it was a foregone conclusion that there would be some additions to the Disney parks. While the Small World ride wasn't replaced with a VR Death Star run ride, each park got their own Star Wars section called Galaxy's Edge. There were costumes, rides, and even a shop where you could create your own personalized lightsaber. While it saw some initial success, the numbers dropped significantly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Things are starting to open back up in Florida, so the 2021 season should see more of an uptick in attendance, depending on how things go.
