The Cale and Nathan Show
We Colorado Avalanche fans are really blessed, aren't we? When this six-game homestand started, I was excited. The Avs lost the first two games after the Four Nations break, and it was not good. We needed something after that. A six-game homestand for any team is just what the doctor ordered. The mission was simple. The Avs had twelve points to get. So get them. So far, so good. Defeated the Devils. Defeated the Wild. Defeated the Penguins. Three-for-three on the homestand. Still have six more points to get. Next up, the lowly, lowly, San Jose Sharks. Again, I'm excited.

Fulfillment
A lot was on the mind of Rebecca Chambers as she sat in front of her laptop inside her secluded cabin. She had been at her place of privacy in the last six weeks that passed since her husband of 16 years, Daniel Oswald, was taken from her, and regarding Rebecca, she had been taking the time to herself following her loss. On that night, Rebecca was doing what she has done every day since then: write in her journal.

A Look at the Boston Bruins' Playoff Streak (Which Could Come to an End)
We are in the early stages of what should be a very captivating home stretch, and we are seeing some surprising teams rise to the occasion. However, such is life in sports, when teams rise, it's because certain other teams declined, and one such team this year is the Boston Bruins. Stanley Cup Playoff hockey in Beantown has been quite the norm lately. Eight straight playoff appearances; tied with the rival Toronto Maple Leafs for the longest current streak in the NHL. And with that, a realization hit me. I've seen quite a few playoff streaks in sports, but if they really don't lead to much, is it really a good stretch?

Wedged
Well, Avs fans, the month of March is finally here. March is a highly important month in the NHL season, but fot the Colorado Avalanche, it is immensely vital. We need as many points as possible in order to rise out of the Wild Card standings and into the Central Division Top 3. Thankfully, the Avs are still on a six-game homestand, and it's "so far, so good." The Avs ended February with home wins against the Devils and Wild. Four points down, eight to go.

Stanley Cup Playoff Push 2025: Let the Games Begin
We have arrived, folks! The final push for this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs began once the calendar turned to the month of March, which is only the third month of the year, but is the final full month of the NHL's regular season. March is the month where the eliminations begin. It may be 32 teams entering March, but during this month and the first half of April, it will be whittled down, bit by bit, to the final 16 teams. Those 16 will participate in this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs, the best road to a championship in all of pro sports.

Reviewing Premiere Week of "Beyond the Gates"
After many months of hype and promos, we were finally treated to CBS' newest daytime soap opera, Beyond the Gates. Now I've said this before, I'm not exactly the biggest soap fan. However, after learning about this soap and the history behind it, I had to see this. Beyond the Gates is TV's first predominantly Black soap in well over 30 years, since the short-lived soap, Generations, aired on NBC from 1989-1991. The cast of that series included Richard Roundtree, Vivica A. Fox, and the late, great Kristoff St. John (who later played Eric Winters on The Young and the Restless).

At Long Last, Cena Turns Heel
Well, folks. It happened. It actually happened. We are all familiar with the question, "Where were you when...?" That always applies to the biggest of moments in society, no matter what the platform. Where were you when a man walked on the moon? Where were you when MLK made his famous "I Have a Dream" speech? Where were you when Hank Aaron hit #715? All sorts of big moments in society. The evening of March 1, 2025 in Canada's largest city ended with one of those moments.

Climbing the Central Division Ladder
As I said before, a six-game homestand is just what a team needs to move up the ladder. For the Colorado Avalanche, it was an opportunity to pick up a maximum 12 points, and maybe make a huge dent in the Central Division standings. Game One went well; a 5-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils. Two points down, 10 to go. Next up, a hugely important game against... the Minnesota Wild. I don't know how, but the Wild have been figuring out ways to stay in third place, but they enter this matchup coming off being blasted 6-1 in Utah. They are slipping, and we need to capitalize.

Milestone on the Horizon
So far, the Colorado Avalanche's return from the Four Nations break hasn't gone well. The last two road games of the extended trip ended with regulation losses, with only one goal each. However, nothing cures any and all ills like a long homestand. Six games. That's a very good chance to climb the Central Division ladder. A maximum twelve points up for grabs. My advice is simple: get those points. First on the docket, the New Jersey Devils, one of the few teams we've shut out this year.

The Scarlet Sentinel
"Everything you have should be mine!" "I'm coming for you!" "You're mine!" As Danica Walsh stood in the ring, a number of the threats hurled at her for the last five months were remained in her mind. The perpetrator of said threats was her opponent, who was making her way to the ring. Enter the Scarlet Sentinel, a masked villainess donning a cape and a full red and gold bodysuit. The Sentinel's identity was a mystery entering this bout, but what wasn't a mystery was the attacks delivered by the Sentinel in the five months that have passed since debuting at Alpha Wrestling Revolution.
