The Bottom Half Doesn't Matter
I've become lazy. So incredibly lazy. In many ways, this is understandable. Without the added impetus of socializing, or having to commute to work, or... well, anything else, really, days merge into each other. In fact, without consulting my phone, I'm not always sure what day it actually is.

I've been on Instagram for a few years. However, until recently, I honestly don't know why. I'd only posted sporadically, and had spent very little time browsing other people's stories. Being in my mid-forties, and stuck in my ways, I'd been happier to keep to what I know; which, in terms of social media, had always meant Facebook.

Although liberating, coming out can be also traumatic. Hugely so. You know it's the right thing to do, but still your mind is wracked with doubt. Am I going to be accepted? Am I suddenly going to find out that someone close to me is homophobic, and have that relationship fracture? Even worse, do I run the risk of alienation or perhaps vitriol?
