Name Me King
The Great Hall is dim except for the fire glowing from the oil lamps. Knights and nobles woo dance as musicians play their flutes. Roasted mutton, fried venison, and meat pottage lay next to cooked fruits and vegetables on the long table. Patches the Fool makes goofy faces in tight pumpkin stripe breeches. Queen Chantelle wipes claret wine off her chin, nearly falling out of her chair with laughter. King Samuel is nowhere in sight, probably playing dice with the servants.
