I have a warped perception of love. I know that. I feel very differently about myself because of that. On Valentine's Day, just about two years ago now, I gave myself the greatest gift of all... my own house for me and my two kids. I was expecting my second child when I moved into my current place. After all the pain I had gone through, I wanted a new place to love. I moved into my new three-bedroom home back in February 2020 before the pandemic began. I had so many good intentions with this new home. It was really close to family members and playgrounds. I had decided that it was a new place for happy memories. That's what I told myself with this gift for us. Who was I kidding back then. After years of asking someone to love me on my birthday and those important days like Christmas and well I don't know Valentine's Day, I decided to give up on love and just love myself in any way shape or form possible.

Everyone is Struggling
The first attempt that I had at this post was far too negative... Truthfully, I had a really awful time during the year 2021. It was a truly terrible year to put it lightly. I had promised myself that the second attempt at this post would be better.

Harvest Moon
The first Harvest Moon game was originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), was released by a company called Natsume in 1996. Growing from that release, the franchise wound up releasing seven games for the Game Boy consoles and one for the Nintendo 64 before releasing A Wonderful Life and Another Wonderful Life on the Nintendo GameCube. I have always enjoyed a good story behind video games. And how Nintendo connected the Game Boy Advance game Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town to the GameCube games to the GameCube games, was astonishing to me. There was a whole aspect of gameplay that you could miss by not linking the games together. That truly was a fascinating piece towards making the GameCube one of Nintendo's best consoles.

Hunted
It was growing very dark. As the three of us sat by the small fire, an owl called out with a gentle, within the still of the night, hoo. I looked up, trying to see if I could see it, hidden in the treeline, but alas it was nowhere to be seen in the dark. I glanced over at my boyfriend Noah. He had just cracked open another beer. I groaned internally as I was not looking forward to seeing him as a hungover mess in the morning. The orange flames of the fire flickered. The owl let out another lone cry, hoo.

You
**This is my honest and personal review. This could contain some spoilers for the entire show. I tried to write it in an ambiguous way because I have not read the book that the series is inspired by. If you have any intention of watching You on Netflix, please stop reading and go sit down and watch the damn show as this is just my interpretation of it.**
