Walk With Me

A version of an apology

Walk with me,

Let's go for a stroll.

I will walk beside you,

Through your trip down memory lane.

Twirl me around.

I'll play the sound.

Ignoring the red flag,

As we danced in circles,

Racing down the halls.

I watched you.

As you strolled on by.

Let's dance and sing together.

Listen to all our problems.

I wanted to pretend,

Like you didn't even notice me.

Dance around the halls with me again.

Twirl around and forget that the world exists.

I'll take another walk.

If every step leads me back to where I am now.

I'll spin a little tale.

Make it kind of like a fairytale.
