Day One of Finding Peace With Bipolar 2 Disorder
So I’ve been diagnosed with Bipolar 2 Disorder very recently and while it’s explained many different things about why I do and say much of the things I do and explains the mood swings I have, it has also been difficult because now I’m in the stage where I now have to learn how to manage what I’m dealing with here. My experience isn’t everyone else’s experience, let me say this upfront. What works for me won’t work for everyone else. Some people needs meds, others choose not to go that path. What I say here is not to tell people how they should go about their treatment for their mental health, but simply to share my experience and maybe help others who might be dealing with the same things I’m experiencing.

Hidden Gems of the Publishing World
How is it that Nicolas Sparks has been able to have this huge career with his romance novels, movies made from these novels, and sales that are through the roof while prolific authors like Kristen Proby do get nearly as much attention despite being a best-selling author? Well we’re about to get into my theories as to why. First, let’s talk about Kristen Proby.

Why I Won't Be Writing About Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Anymore
Anyone who has been keeping up with my body of work on Vocal will know that a number of what I’ve written have been pieces about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and the thoughts I’ve had about that entire saga. If I’m being Frank it’s made up a large number of my readings. Which has been both a blessing and a curse. Gossip sells and sells well depending on how soon you catch it.

Is Johnny Depp Getting The Comeback He Needs?
So Johnny Depp seems to be having a stroke of good luck with the announcement of the new film he will be starring in. The film will about King Louis XV, who reigned for fifty nine years. He was also nicknamed Louis The Beloved, even though he at the time his reign ended he wasn’t seen to be a popular King because of the accusations of his corruption. A title for this film hasn’t been shared, nor has the plot for the film been shared or spoken about. All that has been reported is that Johnny Depp will star in this leading role, the film will likely take three months to film in France starting next summer, and it is a much needed film for Johnny Depp given all of the controversy that has surrounded him the last few years.

Remembering Our Last Golden Girl
I think it goes without saying that despite her age of ninety-nine, everyone was shocked by the death of Betty White on New Year’s Eve. Given how long her career has spanned through her work on television and movies, along with her animal activism work, it’s safe to say those who loved her believed she would somehow just live forever, or that she would at least live to see her one hundredth birthday. However, this isn’t what happened. We did lose Betty White on New Year’s Eve, and what we have are the warm memories of Betty White coming into our homes and more or less becoming a member of our families.

A Mouse Called Rosie
Will was only three months old when Rosie first appeared. It was a moment Will’s mother Rachel would be proud of, being that she was the kind of woman who often stayed up all night to make sure the house was clean. What Rosie’s appearance meant to Rachel was that she really wasn’t the great home maker she strives to be. With Rosie being a mouse, a field mouse no doubt from the large field of grass behind Rachel’s house.

When The Ring Doesn't Fit
The ring had been meant for me. This much was clear when Frank slipped the ring on my ring finger. He we were, standing before an altar, in front of our families and friends, and the ring meant to bind me to the love of my life didn’t even fit.

You've Done Your Job, Now Please Leave
“Give me a few more hours to tidy up around here, then I will be home.” Bryan told Edmond over the phone. Edmond had just returned home from speaking with his editor in New York about his first novel. An exciting time for Edmond, that Bryan was beyond proud of. The whole week Edmond and Bryan spent apart. It was the first time in their ten years together they’d ever spent any significant time apart. The idea of getting to see each other after this time apart, Bryan almost felt like crying with excitement. Edmond was already home, and Bryan was at his flower shop closing down for the night.

Mom, There's A Nomad In Our Yard
The van appeared across the street from our driveway in the morning of my sixteenth birthday. I walked outside to pick pears from the tree in our yard. Three were in my hands when I noticed the van. Pale blue, with sheets covering the window, this was what I noticed from where I stood in the front yard. Seeing it gave me pause, given how many characters appeared on this street during the summers, to swim in the river just beyond our house. Most didn’t cause issues, but there were a select few who might ask for a lighter or a cigarette. One even asked for my number and if I was single. I was thirteen when this happened. Thankfully my mother had been in the front yard gardening when this happened and could intervene. Mom is a soft spoken woman but if you come after her child, run.

What I'm Hoping For With "American Horror Story: Double Feature"
It goes without saying the excitement for the long awaited “American Horror Story: Double Feature” is through the roof. I know I’m among those excited fans. I’m very intrigued with the resent teasers, the idea of two world colliding (monsters of the deep in one story, then aliens and UFOs being in the other story), and the official trailer itself and the likely story that will be told. Everything looks promising.
