I live in Oxfordshire, England. I used to write a lot of fan fiction and mainly just write poetry now. I've been to over 20 countries and written many books. I'm currently working on a horror story called Heavenly Seas.

She dashed over to the lamps and with the click of her fingers, the lampshades returned to their original positions. Joyce and Hisashi worked together with the fairies to tidy up the lounge. By the time they had finished, it was getting close to tea time. Rodger came into the room just as Hisashi limped out.

Depeche Mode have over 200 songs catalogued through 17 albums. Their sound has changed through time, but their electronic base and funky tunes remain as relevant and catchy as they were back in the day. Many know the greatness of their early work with hits like Just Can’t Get Enough, People Are People and Enjoy The Silence. Whatever your favourite era of the band is, there’s no doubt the band have produced a handful of masterful songs. When I saw Vocal’s challenge to produce a Zen playlist and write about it, the first thing that came to mind was Depeche Mode.
