I live in Oxfordshire, England. I used to write a lot of fan fiction and mainly just write poetry now. I've been to over 20 countries and written many books. I'm currently working on a horror story called Heavenly Seas.

James inhaled frost. It tasted disgusting. Throat burning, fingers twitching he let himself into his house for the first time in seven years. An overload of leaflets and envelopes greeted his feet. What Being An Indie Author Taught Me
I’ve been writing and publishing books for a few years now. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to editing, proofreading, and pretty much every category in the writing world, but it is a great hobby to have, especially when you are able to earn with it. There seems to be more opportunities every day for writing. Like many things there are moments of highs and plenty of low points. I do think that you have to go through the small venues in order to get to the big ones. A lot of people feel that my writing is really kicking off, but to be honest, I still feel like I’m at the same point I was many years ago. There is improvement, but I‘m not sure if I feel like I’ve matured.

The Broken Heart of Arelium
What is The Broken Heart of Arelium about? This is the first book of the War of the Twelve series. Throughout the text, I noticed there is a significance in the number twelve. It is a straight forward fantasy story with a slow build-up but is a rewarding read. It focuses on Merad Reed and other characters like Jelaia and the journeys and challenges that they have to overcome to survive.

Chlobo’s Cave
I enjoy collecting things. If I see something I like, I will buy it eventuality . One of the things I miss the most is going to charity/second hand shops and getting a good bargain. Lately, I’ve noticed sometimes things second-hand can be just as expensive as buying it new, especially When you have people that buy in bulk then when it sells out, put it for sale for double the price. I used to work in a charity shop every Sunday while I was at college. I enjoyed the staff discount as a volunteer. We never know what we will get and sometimes you get a lot of surprises.

Starting My Adoption Journey
When I was a child, there were two things that I had always wanted to do: write and publish a book and go to Japan. Coming into the end of my twenties, I've written many books and been to Japan twice. There is another wish that I've always wanted, but not until today did I feel it was time to make those steps: adopt a child. The reason I want to adopt a child as opposed to just having biological children is that there are so many children out there that need families. I used to like the idea of adopting a child abroad, but realistically that isn't possible with everything that is going on. It just feels right for me.

World Leaders Don’t Care About Us
The discussion of politics causes anger when someone disagrees with somebody. It causes confusion with all the loopholes and agendas that are basically Swiss cheese. Bringing up politics, especially one beginning with T can fights, fallouts and a dreadful atmosphere lurking in the room.

Audiobooks I’ve Bought This Month!
I’ve been getting into audiobooks lately. The last time I picked up my cassette player it didn’t work. It didn’t take long to figure out what the problem was: the batteries were flat. Now my cassette player was working again as I managed to get new batteries for them, I was able to listen to an audiobook I had called Floating City by Eric Van Lustbader. I liked the book, and was great to listen to it even though I‘ve read other books by him that I think are better. I only have two audiobooks on cassette which is Flating City and Jane Eyre.

In Defence Of Fan Fiction
Fan Fiction has divided both the writing community and publishing industry. Fan Fiction has been a thing for years and has been supported and endorsed by millions. There’s also many who dislike it and feel it’s inferior to literature classics. The rule of the thumb is as long as you’re not profiting off fan fiction, you are good to go.
