The Empty Room
It echoes in this empty room, and I wonder if anybody is there. I have a laptop, desk, and chair; but my room still feels bare. I hear the birds tweeting and its music in the air, but those tweets aren't human, and I don't have anything to say. As I sit beside my uncovered window, people stop and stare, but nobody can give me the conversation that I crave.

Still Looking For You.
Sherry walked by the sea alone. It had been only been a month since her husband had passed away in hospital. He had been ill for almost three years with an illness that nobody could name. She listened to the gulls cawing, and she heard the waves singing; though every sound felt distant to her. She used to walk by the sea on this beach with her husband, but he had long gone and Sherry felt lonely and lost without him. Memories replayrd themselves in her mind over and over again.
