Beneath the Deck
Leora lived on the edge of a small lake in a small cottage. Her favourite part, and the reason she settled here, was because of the lack of access to her property. The lake was not accessible by any other bodies of water and there was a large forest between her and the nearest road. So, you could imagine her surprise when one morning she noticed a ship on the horizon. How did the ship make it into her small lake? Living alone for years had made Leora quite an introvert, but despite her greatest urges, she needed to go investigate this ship.

Too Good To Be True
When Marco stepped into the restaurant, his heart stopped. Sitting before him was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. One of the most beautiful I suppose, as she had an identical twin sister. To Marco though, nobody could compare. Lilah had been his best friend growing up, and he had been crushing on her since her family first moved to town. Marco spent years trying to get closer to her, but always came second to the popular boys at school. By senior year of high school, Marco was sure his chance with Lilah was approaching, until she moved to college in Australia. That was 8 years ago.
