My Review of Arsenio Hall: 'Smart and Classy'
I'm not familiar with any of Arsenio Hall's stand-up sets so I wasn't sure what I was going to get into when I chose to watch his new special on Netflix. This could very well be his very first comedy special because it really feels like it because it could have went through a few more tweaking before being released. It didn't seem as polished as it should have been.

My Review of 'Zombieland: Double Tap'
I remember the first Zombieland movie. At the time it was a fresh new concept for an aging movie genre. They made fun of the old zombie movies while adding their own twist to the presentation, style and delivery of the dying genre. The executives of Zombieland spent 10 years to figure out how to cash in on the popular film.

My Review of 'Dolemite Is My Name'
People have really given Eddie Murphy a harsh time for the last few years. I'm not entirely sure why but his movies haven't been doing very well in the theaters. I have seen some of his later movies and they aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

My Review of 'Game Changers'
I have a few friends that have become vegan, and they're really into the diet. I understand the reasons why they've become vegan, but I still haven't become full-on vegan. I obviously know that too much meat is bad for me, but I eat it not because of the nutrition, but for the taste. It's sort of like asking everyone to go sugarless for the rest of their lives. We all know it's good for us, but we're all addicted to it, so we can't.

My Review of 'El Camino'
El Camino is the movie I guess not a lot of us expected to see. The movie takes place pretty much after the series finale of Breaking Bad. They even have a little recap of what had happened before the movie starts. After all it's been six years since the series finale. That's a long time, and I'm sure not a lot of people remember every little detail of Breaking Bad since then.

My Review of 'Geostorm'
I'd heard of Geostorm way back when. I saw the trailers for it when it first came out, and I thought it would be interesting to watch, because I can be a sucker for disaster movies. This one stars Gerard Butler as the star character Jake Lawson. The guy who basically invents and creates the "Dutch Boy" program. Basically it's this computerized system up in the Earth's orbit to combat global warming. Well not really global warming, just the resulting storms from global warming.

My Review of 'Batteries Not Included'
I didn't know what to think when I decided to watch Batteries Not Included. It's not a very well known movie, and I've never heard of it before. I looked at who was in the movie, and for the most part, I didn't know anyone in the movie. Although, Brad Bird was said to have helped with the screenplay for this movie. I only recognized Brad Bird's name from Pixar movies. If he's good at making Pixar movies, then he's got to be good at writing this one too, right?

I Don't Believe in Introverts and Extroverts
The definition of an introverted person is someone that is interested in their own affairs. They are generally shy people that don't want to interact with others. In contrast to an introvert, we have an extroverted person who is confident in socializing with strangers.

My Personal Finances Are a Result of My Own Vanity
Recently, I've had mechanical issues with my car, and the cost of fixing it has become astronomical! I then started to debate whether I should buy a new car or get the car fixed. My insurance cost would stay low if I stuck with my current car, but will it break again? It took me eight years for my car insurance to gradually get this low, am I going to start from scratch again with another car? Then I realized, why do I need such a fancy car? I don't need all the bells and whistles, it just needs to go from point "A" to point "B." If this was truly the case, why don't I buy a super cheap economical car and save on insurance as well? Then it dawned on me, I spend more than I really know because of my own vanity. Some of those economical cars are pretty ugly, and I couldn't be caught dead in them. Is my economic well-being worth sacrificing to fit a certain lifestyle? The money I spend on my car could be spent for a better life.

Pyramid Schemes Are Alive and Well
You may have heard of pyramid schemes in the past. This a business model where one person or organization would recruit people to sell something. In turn, these newly recruited people will act as their own business and continue to recruit others, just as the original person had recruited them did. The cycle continues so that each underling continues to recruit more people to sell a product or service. Obviously there is potential for building a large organization using this tactic.

My Review of 'Joker'
A lot of people have been bad mouthing DC movies for awhile because Marvel movies have done a lot better with their campy style of story telling. DC has always been the more serious version of superhero movies and people tend to forget this. They even wanted to change them to make them feel more like Marvel movies. It's a shame that a lot of companies are willing to make these changes because that's where the big bucks seem to be. I'm glad DC has stuck to their guns with Joker.

My Review of 'Tall Girl'
Tall Girl is obviously a lighter film that takes small things and makes them seem big to each of the characters involved in the movie. I went into this movie knowing that it would be a predictable teen movie, and that's not a bad thing. I like watching teen movies once in a while, because they don't make me think too much, and I get to just enjoy the ride. Sometimes you have to give your brain a rest and just enjoy a movie with a few charismatic characters.
